Hey, John, don't you worry. If I have any ability to get this up over at DC3, you'll be reading it, believe me. I love the designs, it looks like it could be a lot of fun. As Brandon will notice when he sees my response to his posting of this over there. Take care Don

So lost he STILL hasn't found it. ;D Seriously. You thought I was kidding with that title, eh? Just think of the build-up of anticipation though. When it finally drops it'll go through the roof! (or at least I'll just keep telling myself that)

Here's an idea I had for an alternate universe Aquaman I came up with... Arthur Curry grew up the son of the world's most famous sea explorer/adventurer/scientist - Tom Curry, The Aqua Man. But when exposed to strange ancient Atlantean technology on one outing, young Arthur developed unusual and extraordinary powers. He now had superstrength, super fast reflexes, the ability to survive underwater for hours on end, and an unexplainable connection to the sea itself. Now as an adult, he has taken over the role of Aquaman from his father and leads a team into one sea adventure after another. Utilizing his ultramodern island headquarters and amazing array of vehicles and weapons, Arthur Curry faces criminals, disasters, and bizarre phenomenon at every every turn as explorer and guardian of the world's oceans. That's the gist of it. It's sorta Steve Zissou crossed with Johnny Quest, but with a super guy. His powers are more like those given to Captain America by the supersoldier formula but aquatic based. He's an oceanic bad ass regardless. Sorta like Batman of the sea.

Queen Victoria done steampunk style. She's toting a eletromagnetic Tesla gun there and ready to kick some 19th century butt along with Steampunk Lincoln. Okay I know all of that doesn't match up historically but this is just for fun. Just pretend Tesla had a crazy uncle who did secret work for world governments and later taught his little nephew Nikola all his tricks. And I know Queen Vic wouldn't have ever dressed like this but she also never fought invaders from outer space, secret underground armies, or giant dinosaurs on lost islands. You never know what that will bring out in a person.

Awesome! Didn't you do a Steampunk Lincoln, too? What a team-up that would make!
Brandon, if you haven't gotten it already, you need Doctor Grordborts Contrapulatronic Dingus Directory from Peter Jackson's Weta Studios. You could do designs for them!

From a note I received today on DeviantART... "I have been working on the SteamPunk Lincoln Costume for a week or so now, getting ready to take it to Dragon*Con in 3 weeks. My girlfriend and I were lamenting that we did not have any ideas for Q. Victoria and a little too busy to do the research." He says they'll be using some elements of my Queen Vic pic for inspiration (like the Tesla Gun, unh!) and send pictures of the finished costumes. This is awesome! I'm super excited to see what they come up with. In the meantime check out some of this guy's other work.

YES! Steampunk Lincoln! Based on my artwork, fully realized by StudioCreations. Awesome beyond belief. I've never had a concept brought to life before so this is cool like I can't even describe. ;D

LOL! That looks incredible. Didn't you do a Steampunk Victoria, too?
It's so cool that you have a studio working on your creations. Actually, with all the crazy stuff rattling around in your head, this is a good thing--- I'd love to see something like Psychotronik's Dracula Inc become a TV show, or the DC3's Meta Teens become a real comic.
Hey! I just thought of a name for your media empire: Killerseamonkey-Business!

The guy did an awesome job, huh? He wore this at Dragon*Con this year and sounds like he got a good reaction. Here's his follow message on this costume and what's up with the Queen V costume... "Glad you like it. I got about 80% of Steampunk Queen Victoria's lighting gun made, but my girlfriend was waaay behind on her MArie Antoinette Dress and we had to stop work on Queen V to finish the hoopskirt on Maries costume for the con. I'll send you picts fo teh gun once I finish it, probably early October ass I am swamped with paying costume work for teh next couple weeks. I hope to do the whole Queen V costume in the future. We're going to do a professional photoshoot of Steampunk Abe later this month. Will let you know where those picts are once I get them online. IF you want a HiRes image of the one I posted on DeviantArttoday, let me know and I can email it to you or drop it on a server for you to pick up. Search flickr.com for "steampunk lincoln" and see more fan picts of the costume from the con too. He was popular the ONE night that we showed him off. Thanks for inspiring me too. I mainly do scifi costumes and never really felt inspired to do a Steampunk costume until I saw your drawing. It was that good of an idea. YAHHHH!!!! "

This is one that's been sitting in my sketchbook for a long time. Since the early days of doing character designs for the site and was supposed to be the DC2 Atom design. But after being discouraged that the image came out looking terrible (never ever buy cheap ink pens, even if they come from the art supply store) I never finished it. I did a revamp on it in Photoshop though and finally completed the pic. This one is dedicated to Mr. David Charlton...

I LOVE the Steampunk Lincoln design. How cool is that. And the costume in real life works fantastically. I had to think of the Wild Wild West movie with Will Smith and Kevin Klein when I saw it first. And the Atom Pic is great, too
