Amazing! Live! Deadly! The feared and dreaded Killer Sea-Monkey! None deadlier are the vicious predators of the ocean under one inch tall. These bizarre cryptids are normally peaceful and family oriented, even known at times to occupy small plastic castles, but on rare occasions they have been known to go feral and develop an insatiable bloodlust! Horror and carnage fill the seas in the wake of the Killer Sea-Monkey!

Ramon's character... A group of character that a friend and I have developed over the years... Something for my daughters... A very old pic that I recently colored. Maybe my first Kirby-esque drawing...

Looks kinda like Galactus in the morning before he gets to the Coffee Planet. ;D Great drawings. Awesome stuff, as always, Brandon--- especially the Mystech Control characters! I would read a book of their adventures! But I have to give l1701e an exalt for the Galactus comment! ;D

Some of you guys have seen these. Catching up the thread with some of the superhero art I've managed to eek out lately... A possible post-Robin era Stephanie Brown tribute. A variant on Bart Allen. Some Marvel character no ones heard of probably.

I've been meaning to ask how you got that wicked background on spiderman.

I've been meaning to ask how you got that wicked background on spiderman. The idea was to make the background solid black and have the dark parts of the costume blend completely in, so I scribbled it all in with a sharpie marker. After it was in Photoshop though I couldn't get it to look right, so I redefined his legs and colored in the background a few times in either the Overlay or Color brush effect (I think) and it pulled the scribble texture back out. So the answer is: happy accident.

And now for something completely different... The Meta Teens! An idea for a teen super-team on the DC2 Earth 2, sort of Teen Titans meets Legion of Super-heroes meets X-men. The concept is that if Earth 2 is an Earth where all the heroes have been around 20-30 years and aging in real-time, a lot of super-powered kids would probably be running around. So there's a school for these metahuman teens that helps them learn to use there powers, but they still manage to get into adventures in their spare time. A little like a DCU version of Hogwarts I guess. I pitched out this idea to a few people and got a lukewarm reception so I don't know if it has legs to be a full-blown mini-series at DC3 or not, but it was a heckuva lot of fun to make up so I made up this promo pic anyway. Here's the characters... Front and center: Kid Crusader Next row, left to right: Zoo Boy, Morpho, Live Wire, and Etrigana Back row: Aquagirl, Earth Angel, Robot Boy, and Elastic Lass You might be able to guess the legacy/backstory/parentage on some of these, while others are not so obvious or a little misleading.

I think I remember reading you kick this idea around awhile back. Please tell me that this will debut SOON.
I want to read this as much as I have wanted to see a Luna of the Moon & Mystech Control series from the first time I saw them last summer!

Some of these characters are from different ideas and sketches over the last five years that finally came together into something cohesive. I hope to do something with this but have some other projects I have to get caught up on first. Thanks a lot though, John. I appreciate it.
