Hello to anyone who is visiting us because of the posts I've made on Reddit! I'm not entirely sure if we'll get any traffic from them, but I thought I should post something here just in case. So, where are we? The DC2 has been running for over ten years now, and we have an established continuity that takes it's cues from the pre-Flashpoint DC Comics. Recently, I know I've made efforts to incorporate bits and pieces from the DC Television Universe, but as the years have gone on, I have to admit, we're pretty flexible when it comes to events that have unfolded. Are you interested in writing Batman, Superman or Wonder Woman? Perhaps you want to have a go at a new take on the Birds of Prey or try your hand at a new take on the Justice Society of America? We have loads of opportunities here so once you've joined the site, feel free to click on "Messages" at the top of the banner and send a PM to "Admin"-- our Editor-in-Chief Mark Bowers-- to pitch your story. If you're interested in contributing art, you can post here, and we'll connect you with a writer, or if you want to post your work in it's own gallery, just head over to the Fan Art section if you want to post your work! Make yourself at home, say hello, and let's see what we can do to make you feel welcome!

as Clark Kent said to Jor-El aboard the spaceship in Man of Steel...
"I have so many questions."
I'm a recruit from Reddit. I've scoured your site trying to take it all in about what you guys do. Ten years is pretty cool. Congrats on that. I'm "new" to comic reading. Only been reading seriously for about a year. Is this site for seasoned DC veterans with lots of knowledge? I'm writing a JLA fanfic now, but I incorporated a character that doesn't exist in the DCU. Do you all allow stuff like that?

Ten years is pretty cool. Congrats on that. I'm "new" to comic reading. Only been reading seriously for about a year. Is this site for seasoned DC veterans with lots of knowledge? I'm writing a JLA fanfic now, but I incorporated a character that doesn't exist in the DCU. Do you all allow stuff like that? Thanks for posting, sir! Well, we have a ten plus year deep continuity for Earth-1, but we try to make all issues as accessible as possible. You can check out the libraries for stories involving characters you're interested in, ask for recommendations on stories, or if you want to contribute your own work, send a message to Admin and we'll find the right place for it. Original characters are welcome-- everything is, for the most part-- for example, in Omega Crisis I've started introducing lots of new characters and concepts because it's set ten years into the future, and of course new folks are going to appear. Over in The Authority, I utilised characters from Marvel-- namely an Iron Man and Captain Marvel! Hopefully we make the site acceptable to all types of fan, and if there are ways for us to make it more accessible, you'll have to let us know!
