Solid issue. GL is usually a good read for me, I'm a huuuuuge Hal Jordan fan, and this issue got me interested in reading GL:Liberation. I assume it's the story of how the Green Lantern Corps are trying to rebuild after their troops were destroyed? Sounds sweet.
Katma is another favorite of mine, it was nice to see her. When are we going to see John Stewart? One small complaint though is when Hal saved her. I get that he's super talented and whatnot, but how did he save her exactly? He blew up or something? That felt a little far-fetched, even for someone with Hal's skillage.
I'm worried about Hank. He's super powerful and all, so hopefully he won't go the same direction as DCU's....
FINALLY! I've been waiting for Chloe to confront Hal with the pregnancy for a whole year. A YEAR! Carol is not going to be a happy camper....
Can't wait for next issue!

Liberation is the story of the Corps retaking Oa from Krona, and if I may say so myself, House has put together a HELLUVA story. Kat is a charecter I love to play with, and with the rebirthing of the Corps, who knows, maybe we'll be seeing more of her than I originally had planned. Forgive the ambiguity during the Hal Jordan rescue; writing similar scenes in this and GLC Liberation 4 left me a bit drained...that's my bad. From now on, you'll see the fighting through a much clearer lens. And speaking of fighting...next issue moves us back towards Earth where the un-fun fallout of Hal's omission about Chloe comes back to bite him in the ass. Thanks again for reading!

A brilliant issue, strong from the get go, nice reveals with Hank to Carol, and the battle scenes were very tightly scripted. I have to admit, I feel guilty about this issue, as #4 of Liberation (check it out, available right now ) was more Dan than me, so if you feel something is wrong with this issue, it's because I was pushing Mr Palmer TO THE LIMIT. X- treeeeeme, I know.

Excellent issue. The action sequence on OA actually gave me chills when I read it.
5 stars...
How will it all end??? The reemergence of Chloe and her upcoming Hal-baby... things are a movin'!

“I thought we agreed no more Lifetime movies before bed?”
BEST LINE EVER. LOL! Great issue Daniel. I like the relationship between Hal and Hank as Green Lanterns but I'm always worried when I read about Henshaw that he's going to suddenly have cybernetic implants and blow up Coast City...but I know that won't happen...right? lol. Again good work and can't wait to see what happens next month!

Been a few months since I posted in the GL lettercol, but I have been following this story, and this issue was so good I had to find the time to comment.
One of the best issues yet. I love what you're doing with with Henshaw, and his chemistry with Hal is really fun. Carol Ferris (always a bit of a Lois Lane knock-off to me) is truly coming alive in this arc, and I can't wait to see how she deals with her surprise visitor next issue (this is just such an interesting concept to me--- how will Hal react to fatherhood?!?).
The Oa stuff (2+ years in the making) seems like it's finally coming to a head should make for a big, slam-bang conclusion. Very nice action scenes in this issue, and a lot of stuff seems to be coming together--- are we headed for a giant-sized, "very special" Issue #20...?
Simple but evocative cover: I like it a lot, actually. Hey, this is war!
Very nice work being done in this title--- you should be very proud, Daniel!

Very much enjoying what you're doing. You've got a great voice for Hal and his supporting cast. The Hank/Hal dynamic is fun to read. And I am a fan of Carol, so I'm very interested to see how she'll deal with the Chloe situation.
For that matter, I'm interested in how HAL will deal with the Carol/Chloe situation.
Good stuff again. Now I suppose I need to read Liberation so I can understand everything that's happening.

Excellent stuff. Don't know what else to say that hasn't already been said. Especially about having a great handle on these characters and the voices. Well, except, MONGUL RULES!!!! Well done cover, simple and scary all in one. 5 stars. Now I'm heading over to liberation as well. See you there, Batarang.

I'm even more glad certain girlfriends don't read this site, so that they can't get mad about me using certain things from my life in this narrative. *Ahem* Hank and Hal have a very unique relationship, one that will be evolving over the next few months. As far as cybernetic implants and blowing up cities, well...evolution is weird.

Welcome back to the GL letters page, and I'm flattered as hell that you're enjoying this as much as I'm enjoying writing it. Carol Ferris has been kind of a blank slate until recently over in the DC1, so I've been ascribing certain attributes to her that I can readily call on from my real life, so hopefully she feels more fleshed out. Another thing we'll see is her relationship with the rest of the Jordan clan. The Oa stuff comes to a head in the coming GL Corps Liberation 5, and I can promise that we haven't heard the end of our extraterrestrial action. As far as a 'very special' issue 20, I can't promise that we'll make like a sitcom, and send a message with it. I can promise that if you lapse in writing in again, you'll be drawn back with our supersized 25...

Quite the juggling act for our hero, huh? Thanks for the words, and the read...NOW GO READ LIBERATION!

I think that Chloe's baby plus Carol Ferris knowing about it equals Star Sapphire, or something close thereto.
Hank gives me the creeps. He's like a dead serious, smarter Guy Gardner. Brrrr.
As for what else will come....well, we'll see.

Some great characterization, fun chemistry, good dialog, well-developed vistas...definitely continuing the excellent work on Green Lantern. There were a couple of areas that felt a bit choppy, or done just for the sake of "pulling the curtain back and ta-da!" (like Chloe being on the cell phone outside Carol's door), but too few to quibble over.
Katma, yay! I love Katma, my favorite GL I think (of the Corpsmen, not our Earth-based heroes). Can't wait to see more of her.
Hank and Hal...fantastic duo. Their interactions can only get more complex, I'm sure.
Good work, keep it up.
Take care Don
