Is Mia's new superhero name "Rape Girl"? It's terrible, she keeps finding herself in these really horrible situations, and you'd think she'd have moved out of Star by now because of it! It feels like every corner she turns she's being accosted, and it's beginning to wear on. A minor complaint, Brian, but one to keep in mind? That being said, this was a fine issue, sharp like a needle point in characterisation and forward motion-- the introduction of The Bulldog was engrossing, great to read, and the set-up of him as a "dirty cop" and why that's frowned upon in Star City was brilliant. Great ploy. It's nice to see Star City join the ranks of "character cities", with it's own distinct personality and police force. I love the world building that the DC2 takes the time to do, and this was a delight. Connor Hawke continues to grow on me as a character... I should drop you a PM you about an idea I had. Hee. He's such a nice guy, he doesn't need to fall back on quips and smart-alec remarks to get by in a fight, he's just him, he's zen, he's calm, and he can do what he does because he wants to, and is brilliant at it! His interaction with Amara was enjoyable, and the continuing references to an event... what, a year ago? That was fantastic. Great to see that. Also, brilliant to see the continuing ties to the Danger Trail/New Outsiders crossover. I don't think this series could escape NO if it tried Great issue, Brian. Well written, well plotted, and apart from that one point I mentioned up at the top, a perfect issue. Cheers!

Couldn't agree with you more, Charlie, and you are not the only one that noticed the Mia situation. That will be rectified soon. I think maybe it's time for Mia to kick some baddy butt.
Glad you enjoyed the rest of the issue though. It's taken me a while to feel like I've hit my stride with this title, but focusing on the city as well as some new supporting characters has helped.
As always, thanks for taking the time.
