Now this was more like it! Weaving legacies together into a package that was a beautiful read, and the banter between Green Arrow and Vigilante the first was wonderful. I loved the little nods to continuity, the remembrance of Adrian Chase, stuff like that. And nice to see we didn't have to have the obligatory hero-fight-- these guys trust each other, they're like old friends, and you can feel that in the story, even if this is their first meeting. I'm a big fan of DC2s Greg Saunders, and the way that you guys present him here is spot on-- guess it helps Susan was doing some co-writing, eh? And with Don Walsh at the helm, his was a regular Seven Soldiers of Victory reunion! I liked the offer of membership to Ollie, who is fast becoming the Wolverine of the DC2 set, but frankly, I don't care. This was a great package, but the fact that I read Rogues Gallery #16 before this made me groan at the last moment reveal of Lucas' saviour-- that Church is getting around! Again, I can't wait to see how this affects other books, and it's nice to see some foreshadowing and foreboding return to the DC2. God knows we can't be happy like the latest issue of New Outsiders A brilliant issue, a brilliant cover, and a brilliant package completely. Good stuff!

Great stuff! My review of this will be hitting next week, but, let me just say that both Arrow and Vig were handled amazingly!
Susan, it was nice to see you here to help with Vig, and trust me, your presence was FELT! (in a good way, of course) lol

The Blood subplot builds, and a nice bit of Seven Soldiers as well!
And I think eventually GA is gonna take one BIG criminal conspiracy down.

Thanks to everyone who has read and responded to this issue. I wish I could take credit for it, but this was Susan's baby from conception to execution, I was just along for the ride.
Working with Susan was great fun (though I'm sure I drove her nuts), and I hope to do it again soon. Well, the colaberating part, not the driving her nuts. LOL!

Brian's not giving himself enough credit. While the plotline was mine, and I wrote out three scenes (along with Greg's monologue at the end), Brian did all the heavy lifting...and he did it fast too! If this had been me alone, it never would have been done on time. I also give Brian credit for folding this idea into his overall "road trip" storyline. I'd originally approached him about this two years ago, before SSoV #1-5 was even finished, and it took all that time for the stars to align and schedules to clear enough for us to do this. All in all...yep, this was fun. Just hope another good idea like this comes around so we can do it again.
