Great issue. Connor is such a great character in your hands. I loved how he was talking with Werner and his "Yes" was the highlight of the issue for me. Very well done.

Connor is going to get a bit more of a showcase in the next couple of issue's since Ollie will be making an emergancy trip back to... well... I can't say anymore. Thank you for reading and responding, my friend!

I agree, lots of energy in that cover. Short issue (least it felt short) but good. Sad to see that wedge being driven between Ollie and Roy, but kids do grow up, y'know? Finding out about Connor can't help things either. Speaking of Connor, lots of coolness here with him: shaking off Vertigo's signature power, the calm demeanor in the face of battle...looking forward to more of him! Still a little muddled on what's happening back in Star City, but I figure you'll get to that soon enough.

Connor is awesome.
You know what's sad about Ollie and Roy? They're both right.

I agree, lots of energy in that cover. That's why he's the boss!
Short issue (least it felt short) but good.
It is sad, I agree, but it just seemed kind of natural to me, for both of them. You will be seeing more of Connor in the next few issue's, and then it will be back to some heavy Ollie stuff. As for what is happening in Star City, well, that will not only eventually effect the GA series, but also NO and have some serious implications for Action Comics as well. All I can say is that it is something that has been building for over three years, and there is a big revelation coming... Thank you Susan, for taking them time to read and to respond!

Connor is awesome. You know what's sad about Ollie and Roy? They're both right. I like Connor too. And YES! YES! YES! You got it exactly right Jay! There is no wrongness in that situation. Just two grown men with opposing beliefs.

Finally Count Vertigo!!!! Now that I got that out of the way.... The entire issue was a roller coaster ride of action and emotion. The opening scenes with Roy and Ollie was intense and typical of a Father and a son. Knowing Ollie, he is going to regret how things went down with Roy here and we know how Ollie handles regret! Vertigo was deadly and dangerous just as he should be. And he has some former connection to Checkmate huh? I hope that someone picks up on that because it would be a shame to start something and not finish it. A real highlight in this issue was Conner. I am officially won over on this character in a way I never was over in the 'old' DCU. It was nice to see a happy ending with Eddie and Mia, I was worried there for a minute or two. As for Cortez and the Fero group I am going crazy trying to figure out whats going on there and who is the ultimate mastermind behind it all. I can't wait to see what you have in store with this. I see some hard times in Ollie's future. All in all, a great opening couple of arcs to start this series off right. Your love for Ollie and the gang shines through every written moment like no one who has ever used the character. Plain and simple, you OWN this book like no other! Loved the 'Arrow Family' cover Ramon. From start to finish his title has hit the mark every single issue. 5 stars because I said so.
