NIN-JA!!!!
YES.
This week has been extremely awesome, Brian. Not only do we get a brilliant Teen Titans Annual, but we get #1 of Green Arrow, and it continues to impress! Eddie is an amazing comic foil for Ollie, and the intrigue at the Monastery was very interesting. "Hello, Pot..." was a line that made me smile, and I can't wait for the next issue!!

Very good issue. Solid action, great characterization, mystery and excitement, a wonderful hint of things to come with Brother Hawke, and a dangerous madman with no care for how he lures his goals into reach (which is how you define Kobra, one of my favorite mad masterminds). All that combined with a fantastically subtle nod to Normal Lear. I love in-jokes that are wrapped that subtly into the material. It's a talent and skill many are too ham-fisted with. I really like the worn and tattered feel of both Fyres and Ollie that you give us. It feels very real and true to both characters. I like the friction and friendship between the two as well. All in all, a great second issue. can't wait for the next issue. Take care Don

Well, what would a Green Arrow be without some ninja's flying around, somewhere. Glad you enjoyed it, Charlie. Eddie will be in and out of this book for a long time and as for our monistary friend... his journey is just beginning.

Solid action, great characterization, mystery and excitement, a wonderful hint of things to come with Brother Hawke, and a dangerous madman with no care for how he lures his goals into reach (which is how you define Kobra, one of my favorite mad masterminds). Thank you sir! I agree with you on the Kobra, he is truly an insane mastermind in the DC2, and just how mad he is, will become apparent very soon. Glad you caught it and enjoyed it. I have a tendancy to use throw pop culture references around quite often, sometimes it works, sometimes, it doesn't. Eventually my plans are for a DC2 spatacular and tribute to Aaron Spelling where all the characters take the Love Boat to Fantasy Island and Donna, Diana, and Barbara become Clark's Angels. I'm glad this has come across. I've really tried to work extra hard to make Eddie and Ollie as real as possible. They're both old warhorses who have their own unique style. LOL! It took me forever to figure out why there was a wink witht hat comment. I'm slow, can't help it. Thanks for reading and responding. Hope you enjoy the third issue even more.

"Hello, pot, my name is kettle" and "I've got a rule: no arrows" are tied for my favorite lines of the issue!
Grand story all around. I see you're setting up more major things down the road while we're still dealing with the first major thing in front of us. You've obviously got plans, my man, and I can't wait to see them all. Also, nice nod back to that N.O. story -- heroes don't always get to see the long-term fruits of their labors.

What can I say that hasn't been said? Excellent job all around. Solid story, solid dialogue, solid action and everything is just done so well. And Conner's around! I think it's funny Ollie was talking about Eddie having a kid and he has one of his own. Great way to contrast the two of them with that adjoining scene.

Mia and Connor are both here, Eddie and Ollie are sniping, and Kobra is completely out of his head.
Five stars.

"Hello, pot, my name is kettle" and "I've got a rule: no arrows" are tied for my favorite lines of the issue! Thank you Susan, I was kind of fond of both of them as well, although my personal favorite was the Norman Lear nod. But I'm old. Yep, things are being set up, that's for sure. I always tend to have one or two subplots running in my stuff, I don't know if it's a good thing or a curse, half the time.

And for the show of support. It's always appreciated and never taken lightly, and that goes to everyone that reads my stuff. Funny back story to that scene that you could probably care less about hearing, but I'll tell you anyway. My original plan was not to bring Conner in so soon, but when I finished writing that scene (more of a wink to the readers of things to come down the road), the Conner scene hit me like a ton of bricks, and suddenly another road was looming in front of me that I decided to follow.

Mia and Connor are both here, Eddie and Ollie are sniping, and Kobra is completely out of his head. Five stars. Thanks Jay! Yep, Mia and Connor are around. Ollie and Eddie are fast becoming Felix and Oscar, but King Kobra... you think he's out of his head? Geez, I'm of the mind that his way is the best way. ALL HAIL KOBRA!!! Thank you for reading and taking a moment to respond. It means a lot.

Finally got around to reading this and I enjoyed it. Ninja fights, special guest stars, flashbacks to Ollie's NO days and some decently witty banter. Looking forward to the next one.

I recently stole an idea that David had a while back and printed off a run of issues to read while I flew out of town a short while back. It was an easy choice for me since I was so far behind on this title.
So on to issue #1…
“what happened to your deluxe apartment in the sky?”
“I traded it for some good times.”
I knew right there that this odd couple was going to make for some reading. Eddie and Ollies relationship is slightly different here then in the DCU, as is Eddie character for that matter but both are extremely welcome in my opinion. GA couldn't and his supporting cast couldn't be in better hands.
As for the story this issue, you've really built a nice foundation for the coming issues here. The mystery of Kobra, Eddies daughter, The CIA, not to mention Connor Hawke! Throw in some witty banter and a solid cliffhanger and this was one heck of an issue.
“I don't think we are standing in the same spot anymore.”
Indeed we are not!
Throw in an another killer cover by Ramon and this was 5 stars…Easily!
