well i would say that i loved every bit of it, but thats just not true, whoever this ramon villalobos is, he is wasting valuable photobucket bandwith. especially those horrendous covers! ICK how can one person drain so much time and energy into such a moot point. all kidding aside. it was a lotta fun and i'd like to thank all yous guys for putting up with my nonsense. great job to: scott and his everending supply of brilliant character pin ups, roy and his traditionalist spirit with all them cool superman and old school looking characters, naturally brandon the art director who may not have contributed as much as he'd like because of all those genious mast heads that he does so well. jim and his awsome pinups. the doc and his "wacky" ideas and brash spirit, the newcomer michelle and those Bale images... oh right and Charlie my collaborator, crazy little bugger. and david for all those captions, he coulda just left us all confused and wondering what the hell we are looking at. right so.... great job guys, lets get together again real soon.

I almost choked on my OJ there Ramon! You had me going for a minute there! Please continue to drain time and energy, it's working for you!
Great job everyone! This was so much more then I expected! I will have to spend more time reading the previews and looking at the rest tomorrow(and reply) but I had to comment now on how proud I am to be part of something like the DC2. Classic! I will say one thing. The Huntress pin-up was my fav Scott and my wife wants to know why you aren't working at DC professionally and I agree! Great job to everyone who had a hand in this!

Wow... thanks for the kind words!
I think this was a stellar undertaking! The art department really shone through on this! Everyone involved! We really need to do this again soon! But maybe not so soon... David just about pilfered all of my DC artwork I posted in my fan art section. Back to the drawing board!
And thank again Johnelbe & your wife too... that was flattering. I'm one of those that hasn't tried drawing sequential art... I do pinups. Maybe I should try my hand at it... naw.

Great job folks! All of you went so far beyond that it was a treat from beginning to end. I hope you don't wait to long for the next one. The previews were great and I laughed out loud a couple of times. I hate picking just one or two things out when everything was A+ material, but I loved the pic of the Leather Gang...err...Outsiders, and the Green Arrow was phenominal!!! (of course I'm a little partial to him) Again, great work everyone! I think this is a good part of what puts DC2 above the rest.

I've seen the hard work that went into this special issue behind the scenes, and the last minute updates of work and just trying to squeeze all the quality we did in was well worth it. Well done to all the artists who took part in this experiment, and in my honest opinion, it was an experiment that proved to be well worth it. I personally loved the King Faraday piece, because of the intricate use of shadow and negative space to make it one of the best pieces of art I've seen for a while! I also found the captions to be very humouress... "fledgling world-conqueror "? Oh how I snickered. Erhem.
I would just like to say that Powers, Inc was the brainchild of Ramon Villalobos, and that no credit should go to me for writing this! I only lent a hand in focusing the story (with all the ideas that we went through, it was liking peeing into a REALLY strong wind), and I can't wait for you to see what else ol' Ramon has in store for us!
And now, a special thanks to Dave Charlton, truly the greatest leader in the DC2! Thanks Chief!

Ooh, pretty pictures! Seriously, great stuff as always -- I like the alternate LoSH cover better than the one posted with the book. Ramon also deserves congrats all-around, he's too damn good for us!

A round of applause goes out to everybody who worked on this. You can tell how hard they worked on this by the quality of their work. I hope this continues on. It's nice to have something the artists can showcase their work and gives us readers a sneak peek to things to come. Thanks, everybody.

This was quite possibly my favorite issue to read so far on this board, my friends! I have to say, the Seven soldiers looks quite enticing, but I personally can't wait to see that other great looking team may take the cake in pure hilarity. Honestly, this has been a great romp through a really well-developed world of characters. Can't wait to see what comes next out of your house of ideas!
