I thoroughly enjoyed editing this issue-- there was a perfect mix of creepiness from the new Toyman, and also enough action to allow the reader to be sucked in and never feel as if the story is lagging. I'm finding Lois a bit rude at the moment in this title, she seems unnecessarily harsh toward the guy at the bank. The Hot Wheels car chase was interesting, but instead of repairing the damage, I found myself asking why he didn't just throw the car into the Sun from the get go with his "uncanny agility". It seemed like you were trying to show Superman as this awesome hero, when the direct response to the threat would have been more appropriate. I loved seeing the tie-in to Secret Society of Super Villains (#2, for those of you wanting to know /shameless) and seeing Deathstroke being such a sneaky, manipulative bugger was sublime. I'm very much looking forward to the promised Toyman versus Toyman throw-down next issue, and the final scene tease was a great bit of cat-and-also-cat action if I ever saw it.
Good issue, let down by a few lapses in verisimilitude and logic, but a good issue none the less!

nice job here. Really love the Toyman stuff! Was a bit thrown off by Slade's appearance, but I did like the different take on him.
Cover was really creepy to me, but then I always loved the movie Magic even though it creeped me out big time.

Thanks for editing it, Charlie and glad you enjoyed fixing my grammer mistakes ;D. I've always thought of Lois as having a bit of spunk but apologies if she's being a bit too spunkish Agreed. It seemed like a great idea when I was coming up with it but it ended up actually feeling a bit convulted in places in that scene. It's arguable though if Superman was to throw the car away first. If people were already in danger, I think he would take the time to rescue them from possibly dying first before going to for the car because if he had gone for the car first, the time he took during that, could have gotten someone killed...like I said, arguable. The Toyman vs. Toyman fight will hopefully be one to remember and during the fight, expect toys, lots and lots of toys! Thanks for reading and commenting, Charlie. Look forward to having you read next issue.

Great start with an exciting - if, as already stated, a tad convoluted - action set-piece and a suprising and ominous cliffhanger!
