Sorry, Sam, I'm playing catchup as I'm way behind on reading your series! So bear with me over the next few days as I grab what time I can to get fully caught up.
I had to go back and read #28 again because I couldn't fully remember what had happened with Roxie and Renee after so many months.
Firstly, I'm kind of disturbed that you've managed to get inside the head of a pyromaniac and make it completely believable given his context. I also found it amusing that he obviously read far more into his "relationship" with Roxie than she did. Obsessive? Check.
I have to admit that I'm a little confused as to who is sending letters to Harley. In a previous issue, Joker made overtures to winning her back but now Jack is mentioned. I'm not sure if Harley is hiding something from Ivy or if she's telling the truth. Guess I'll find out in time.
Definitely like the continuing development of a relationship "game" suggested by Harley and endorsed by Ivy. It was also nice to hear more about Ferak.
Kind of sad to see Roxie get crushed like that but she did have it coming and it was probably better to learn this way than to continue down the road she was headed on. At least this way, she got to save a bit of face as well as leave the door open for her to possibly return at some point.
Looking forward to see what happens next and, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to get in #30 before bedtime.
