That's right, design your own villain for the DC2! Either create your own villain from scratch or revamp an existing DC second-stringer bad guy and present your pic here with a short bio. If you create a new character whole cloth then please be sure to give him or her a name and a brief description. If you use a pre-existing bad guy, make sure it's not a major rogue for the DC2 but rather a lower tier baddie (like say, Crazy Quilt ) and give the scoundrel an evil makeover! Whichever you choose, give it your all and come up with something cool! And then, three weeks from now (Tuesday the 24th) the Challenge will end and the voting will begin. Everyone will have a chance to vote for the Villain they like the most. The poll will remain open the final week of this month and the maligned design that gets the most votes wins! The "prize" this month is that the winner's bad guy will then make an appearance in one of the DC2 stories!! So, get busy and come up with the next Big Bad for the DC2 and post it here! Everyone is welcome to participate!!

No mocking, Scott. Just having fun, man. Jim, I used the Crazy Quilt example because Ramon put forward a pretty intense version earlier on the site already, but I would certainly love to see what you have!

i'm first! ;D.... okay crazy quilt is a serial killer that takes patches of his victims skin and (Gasp) makes a quilt that he rubs on his nude body after he kills. this is how he gets his jollies. he also has a deadskin mask.... like the slayer song... get it?

I had considered that, Ramon. It's a big ol' loophole for the current contributors here that are writers/artists. My approach is that I'm not going to do the villians I've created for Aquaman but do something for a title I don't write for.
BUT, if you want to put out a character that doesn't exist yet for DC2 that's fine. Even if really planned for a title. I don't think it should really effect anything and will be fun to see. If say your villian gets the most then it could just be a victory in friendly rivalry and we could give a runner-up prize to the number two entry and have that character also get to be used in a story.
Does that sound fair guys?
As with any of these Challenges the real fun is in the sharing in the creative process and seeing what stands out about each entry. I say it's cool if everyone else agrees.

the stictches symbolize nothing but his inability to use a sewing machine. which would not work anyhow because that is not thread. it is hair, and as we all know, you cannot find human hair by the spool.

haha. wow what a concept doc. i like it, i like it a lot... Thanks. I've told you before how much I like your Crazy Quilt! Headcount comes, in part, from my bad experience with a company I used to work for. As I was typing him up, I was chatting with a friend who is still working at said company. He told me the company is making drastic cuts to the employee pension. Wow, life imitates art which imitates life!

I really do dig your Crazy Quilt idea Ramon....perfectly twisted...
I had a take for Crazy Quilt that went like this:
Imagine one of the world's most powerful telepath's/telekinetics, in the damagaged psyche of a man with severe emotional problems who has the mentality of a 10 year old. Obsessed with the heroes he sees on TV, and longing to be like them, he breaks free from his "home" and decides to perform misguided acts of "good", replecating the powers of all his favorite heroes with his pyschic abilities...using his telekinesis to "lift" heavy objects like Superman, or to push him at great speeds to "run" like the Flash, etc. But every time he tries to do good, he ends up hurting people, and his real life inspirations have to show up to stop him...which sends him off into a deep rage. Now, the reason for THE "Crazy Quilt" moniker is due the homemade costume he has made, made from patches from different DCU characters. (Flash' left Ear bolt, the right point Bat-ear, an Aquaman glove, a Wonder Woman braclet. etc.)
I really wish I had a scanner so I could scan the sketch and show you, but you get the idea. (I hope.)
This is such a good contest this month, I am so excited!!!
