Thanks Charlie. It was meant to emulate the gothic illo style or an Edward Gorey kind of thing.

Here's a few older pieces I've been meaning to scan and finally got around to it. OMAC - the real one. Part Kirby, Part Timm-inspired. Colored with art markers. HULK Straight Kirby style. One day I'll color it...

Thanks Ramon! Yeah, I love OMAC (maybe only slightly less than KAMANDI, okay, pretty much any sci-fi Kirby did in the 70s) and hope to eventually do a story about him here. And considering the way my schedule looks right now? That could be sometime in 2008.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Doc. ;D
Actually, after first seeing Batman Beyond I was inspired to do this pic because I thought OMAC would work well in this sci- fi Corporate Future America setting. Oh, oops, that would make this pic just shy of 10 years old but anyway. I could really see OMAC going up against Mr. Big in a future Metropolis done in the BB style, so when I do a story it will most likely reflect that show.

Ha! Yeah, I was hoping for some type of connection to be made from the IC version and the original Kirby version but yeah, nothing. I guess they wanted to leave it opened-ended for now.

Not really art but just to share, this is my collection of toy robots. ;D You can't really see the tin wind-up Bender and Gort, which are two of my favorites. Other notables: Conky, a Gundam, some Star Wars droids old and new, Voltron, Robbie, a Johnny Five knock-off, Iron Giant, a bunch of Shogun Warriors, some GoBots, Ultron, Warlock, Roboto from He-Man, and some others. On my short list for wants are Twiki from Buck Rogers and Vincent from The Black Hole!

A quick concept piece for a friend... This is a really old piece of fan art. I drew this up after Morrison's JLA launched and before Young Justice existed. I did the artwork and sent in a crazy script to DC with this group pic and called it Justice League Jr. Yeah, I know. What did fans do with their crazy ideas before the internet and photoshop? They drew up some fan art and foisted their ideas upon unsuspecting submissions editors at professional comic book companies! *mumbles* you kids have it easy these days... Anyway, like a month later I read an article in Wizard about the Young Justice title being announced. I guess I was onto something but it looks like DC was way ahead of me. In the back are Koryak and Menagerie, Beast Boy's "grown up" id from KC. I photoshopped in a background to snaz it up a bit, but also committed a classic group shot mistake by chopping off Green Arrow's leg.
