Well, it's about time I did this. Hello all! I join this site because I love writing and I love comics! Now truthfully, I actually am more of a Marvel fan than a DC fan, but that doesn't mean I don't love DC comics. After all, just because a man loves chocolate milk, doesn't mean that he adds it to his cereal! Now, I am a fan of books about younger heroes or amateur heroes, learning their place in the world, which attracts me to titles like Teen Titans, but that doesn't mean I don't go for classics like Detective comics and Justice League.... When it comes to my writing style, I love 3rd person exposition but one of my biggest weaknesses is fighting scenes. I just have a problem writing out full-on brawls. I prefer brainy mysteries which is what attracts me to characters like Batman so much. That doesn't mean the bad guys I write are easy or anything, just that they can come up with a good evil plan...... *evil cackle* I've done some reviews for this site, and I've been very impressed by the writing level here. And the art, Oh my God the art, some of it is better than the actual titles you find in the real DCU. I love the simplified and streamlined style you guys have gone for and would be honored to write for this community. So, hopefully I can start writing some stuff for this site soon and live up to the level of talent you guys have here. Maybe I could even get some fans of my own....

Glad you're enjoying the stories to be found here. There is an incredible depth of talent both with our artists and our writers, and it's a blessing to be sure. And while you're looking around, don't forget to check out DC3, the sister site and the rest of DC2's multiverse. Especially considering you enjoy younger and novice heroes, there's Earth-Two, with the descendants of the DC greats learning the ropes, as well as Earth-Five, which has the long-running story of Batman's first Robin coming into her own (you read that right) and the Teen Titans starting up soon (among others). And of course, all the other stories to be found here. I have somehow added quite the contingent of novice youngsters to for the Justice League to mentor, and you've seen the JSA's cast, and Teen Titans. So glad to see you're enjoying yourself, and we'll be looking forward to seeing what you have to contribute. Take care Don

Welcome! Don't let Jay scare you. This isn't really a mad house. And if it truly was would I be sane enough to know the difference?

Welcome! Hope you come to love it hear as much as the rest of us do. Or even more! Three simple rules you need to know: 1. The artists are our bread and butter. (not that we actually get bread and butter), so when you pass them in the halls... bow. 2. Never go in the basement alone. There's a real psychopath down there. He was locked away very early on and has rarely been seen since. 3. Don't take my stapler. Please. ;D

Welcome, and glad you're finding some titles here you're interested in. If you have any questions about anything, please feel free to ask.
(And by the way, not everyone listens to the stapler warning, so..... watch for flying staplers, too...)

... and if you want to find a REALLY good read you should check out her Nightwing issue with Stirk. Creepy, that.
