I thought this was a repetitive issue-- fight scene/pause/fight scene/pause. The fights were very similar, but it was cool to have moments of character development peppered between. Circe has an interesting voice, and it's cool to see Donna finally be in the spotlight of the team and show how powerful she really is. Good issue, just wished it wasn't so same-y throughout.

I really enjoyed this issue! I have a huge soft spot for this roster (well, except for Dagon--- I still have no idea who that is or why he's on this team), and this arc with Donna is some terrific character-building work. Nice to see the Mask of Hecate pop up again, and Circe is always a fun villain! That cover by the inestimable Jamie Rimmer is gorgeous! Girl fight! if only Starfire had been added to it...  Well done, fellas! |
