I'm breaking my self imposed rule of thumb and comment on this issue. Nothing makes me happier than a well told story with tight characterization, an engaging plot, and realistic sounding dialog. That's why this arc of Jay's is probably going down as one of my favorites. Jay has really got the team dynamics down to a... shall I say it? A... Tee. My favorite scene comes toward the beginning of this issue when we find Terra and Raven side by side, working together to figure out what to do. It is a small moment in the scheme of things, but to me, the small moments are the ones that show us what a writer can do. And Jay has it in spades! I've been very lucky as Editor of this book to have had some extraordinary writers, from the very beginning. Jay's work is solid, and his love for every one of these characters continually shines through! 5 stars for a fun, entertaining, and damn near flawless arc!

This was a good issue. The action was solid, and the various characters were interesting to watch at various points (though favorite characters shone through by their amount of screen time, I felt).
The villain was very cardboard, and the resolution to the staff seemed kind of weak, like they should have had a better idea of what to do with it. But I'm sure that as Teens, the Titans will learn their lesson, I guess.
Could have been a stronger issue, but it was a satisfactory end to a decent storyline. I'll be curious to see what's next for our Titans.
Take care Don

Read this a few days ago, but didn't get arround to commenting until now, phew. Anyway, I only ever read an issue or two of this before time closed it's unholy grip around me some months back, but I'm glad I'm able to read this again. It gains immediate points for accesibility- while I intend to go back and read the preceding issues, I was able to understand what was happening here pretty quickly without that, but it never felt slow or forced.
In general, I agree this was a very strong issue. While I'd have to agree with Don that it wasn't very difficult to guess who the favourites of the writer were, they were so well written throughout that it was easily forgivable. In general, I'd have to say characterisation was the issue's strong point, as was some snappy dialogue and banter.
However, I'd say the weakness here was the threat. Wickersham never genuinely felt like he was too much of a threat to the heroes, and the denoument seemed a bit too neat. While it could be expected that the staff would escape, I don't think they should have been so careless in disposing of it, and the explanation was a tad clumsy there. Still, that's really the only problem in an otherwise pretty good issue. I'll be back for more!
