Loved Vic in this story. Hes really turning into Teen Titans vic as I hoped he would. Really well written. Loved all the characterisation and was just brilliant.

And although I'm usually loath to comment on books that I edit, I do want to say that this first arc of Jay's was fantastic and a lot of fun for me to read. I still have a very special place in my heart for these young heroes, and Jay is keeping that love going.

What an amazing cover from the always inspiring RV. The use of colors here really made Raven cool and Cyborg bad ass.

Now on to the story itself...

The Red Rain background info was interesting and fit nicely with the story. The conclusion of this arc really had it's ups and downs for me. I guess it kind of happened when I came to realize that there wasn't a villain pulling the strings from behind the scenes.

I think that maybe the alien menace might have worked better in a fully illustrated comic but it didn't quiet translate here. That isn't to say that the writing wasn't up to par, because it was. The only complaint there was some stiff dialogue here and there.

There was one major part of the tale that I really liked, and that was the Raven/ Kid Flash scenes. I thought that those were the two characters that carried the story and I look forward to seeing where you take them next.

Jay, you are one of the best writers around and a friend, plus you know I enjoy reading whatever it is you sink your teeth into. This was just one of those rare times that the story missed for me.

And since I know what is waiting down the road I know I will enjoy the next arc. cough*SUICIDESQUADCROSSOVER*cough.
