Gar jumped up. “How did you escape?!”
“I was rooming with Nightwing. It was inevitable.”
Perfect. A perfect Teen Titans story. A bit of angst, a lot of family, and some interesting "guest stars"! I'm not a Starfire fan, unfortunately, but that didn't stop this issue pulling at my heart strings. I always enjoy nods to New Outsiders, and Donna's "We're not in Vegas" line made me laugh, but it's the italics above that got a real reaction out of me. Very cool, Brian. You can never do wrong in my eyes! Unless you... Wrote... Uh... Oh, I don't know. Awesome work, Brian, and a cover that came out of nowhere Ramon! Didn't know that was coming. Very nice.

A classic Teen Titans tale, done in the great style of my favorite era, Wolfman/Perez, at the top of their game in htat series. I loved this issue, the characters were spot on, their abilities tested hard, and great emotion and use of action and drama. The back-up Titans debuting is an extra treat, with several characters holding a soft place in my heart popping up. And I love the villain. Blackfire has always been one of my favorite Titan foes of that era, and she was always used so well at the time, and you do equal justice to her here as well. All in all, a grand space epic you should be proud of. Take care Don

Poor Starfire. On so many levels. Good thing she didn't hear what Dick said when he was waking up....of course she has other priorities right now.
Nice touch with all the "others". Especially the characterization of Risk. I'm sure we'll see some of them again, sooner or later.

Good stuff. Nice addition of characters and storyline. I'm hoping to see more of Risk, Bumblebee and Aqualad. Looking forward to the next issue.

Gar jumped up. “How did you escape?!”
“I was rooming with Nightwing. It was inevitable.”Perfect. Glad you liked that moment, Charlie! I have to admit, it's really there as a lazy way out. I didn't really want to try and figure out how they escaped in the first place, so I figured, it's Nightwing, of course they're going to get out. LOL! Well I'm glad you liked the Starfire stuff, even if she isn't one of your favorites. I guess that means I did something right. Personally, I've always loved the character. I honestly don't think this is a perfect story, but I have always, and will always, appreciate your feedback and support. It means a lot. Yeah, I liked the Outsider line as well. Again, I'm really glad you enjoyed it. And you are right, Ramon's cover knocked my socks off! Kory and Komand'r never looked better! Thank you Ramon for doing double duty this week, for me. Between this cover and the GA cover, you went way above and beyond!

A classic Teen Titans tale, done in the great style of my favorite era, Wolfman/Perez, at the top of their game in htat series. Those are tears of happiness, Don. It's exactly what I was shooting for. This annual was kind of my thank you to Wolfman/Perez, because they were the team that got me hooked on comics way back in the day. That you got that feeling from this story, makes me feel that it was worth the late hours. Thank you sir, and as for the back-up Titans. I didn't use all that I wanted because the story was already running long, but I am hoping that by spring of next year there may be a mini series by yours truly, starring those same Titans, and possibly a couple more. I also want to thank David for giving me the thumbs up with Golden Eagle. His is a story that is really just beginning. I'm glad you liked her in this. When I read the Titans way back in the day, my three favorite villains were Brother Bood, Trigon, and Blackfire, so I am very honored that I got to introduce her into the DC2. Thank you, Sir, for taking the time to read and respond. Although I do have to say that I really didn't write this as much of a space epic (since they really didn't get very far), however, if you want to read a GREAT Titans space epic, hold on to your hats, because our new writer, Mr. Jay McIntyre, has some great stuff coming up, and he'll be debuting in only two weeks!

Poor Starfire. On so many levels. Good thing she didn't hear what Dick said when he was waking up....of course she has other priorities right now. Well, one of the things I wanted to do with this annual was explore her past just a bit more. Something that hadn't really been done yet. As for Dick waking up and spouting off what he did, yeah, good thing she didn't hear that... for both her and possibly Dick's safety. ;D I hope so. As I said before, I'm hoping to do a mini with them, sometime in the next year. Both Risk and Golden Eagle have some very interesting histories of their own that I would love to explore. Now, I officially hand this team over to your more than capable hands! I know what's coming up and I can't wait for everyone else to get a loud of it. It's great stuff!
