I started reading this as it was being posted, and I immediately got the feeling it was an "Elite" riff but with this new team, but I felt the execution was poor, due to the "We're so bad ass we're going to beat you up, Teen Titans, to demonstrate it," plot you had going. To be honest my mind kind of wandered after a while, and I just stopped reading. I guess I'm too used to what Mark was doing, and this just didn't do it for me, so... That's it. Beautiful cover Ramon, as always!

hey, I kinda expected you to not like my stuff so Im not exactly sure what to say coz I dunno if thats the generaly concessus or what. Its just I know your tastes and mine are different as you rarely enjoy my stuff and I appreciate that but hey...thats the way it is. If more people agree Ill realise that maybe it wasnt the best style for a Titans arc however I did try and make it more Titansy. Dot worry its only a two issue arc.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with the style or the plot (although all the Titans/Godhead connections struck me as a bit unbelievable). Not sure that the flashback scenes worked that well (while I liked the Donna one, the Wally and Roy ones seemed slightly melodramatic). Also, the storytelling I occasionally found confusing, but that might have just been a consequence of the number of characters (some unfamiliar and some pretending to be other characters) you were using, plus no doubt your having to rejig your story as a result of the mess this previous writer left behind.
Thought the scene in Roy's apartment was great, and the cliffhanger means I'll be back next issue for the conclusion.

One of the ideas for the flashbacks was that I had these villians and then went..."WHo the hell are they?" and then I said well I could use like Blackfire, or Deathwing, or Dark Raven but I had these microsI made and said "Okay Ill use these guys." Then I kinda had the idea that not everything the Titans have ever done has been recorded so their must be other people from their past who would have insentve to become villians.
I can see what you mean about the melodrama but I was trying to capture something that would effect the individuals more than a regular villian so I needed something to have happened that they haven't ever forgotten and since I had to vary the events some are more melodramatic than others. Wait till you see who the rest are....
Also the thing with Nightwing being Red X, originally I had the whole of the New Titans at my exposal and so it was Plastique, Nightwing, Arrowette, Dagon and Woodchuker as this villian team called Deathpool trying to lure out Godhead into a kinda of pact but when I lost them I still oved the idea and the Red X cameo but it didnt seem quite as solid a plan when it was just Dick on his own. Anyhoo....

I liked this one. Kind of had a 'Titans East' feel to it. I wouldn't be surprised if the mysterious benefactor (If there is one) behind Godshead turns out to be Slade Wilson. Keep up the good work.

Interesting, though the writing doesn't flow as smoothly as your Cyborg story did. I'm sure things will be cleared up once we find out who's behind the Godshead. But most of all I wanna see a superspeed duel!

Im glad you liked and UltimateDC you will be very suprised by the benefactor and it may raise questions about a previous issue namely...where on Earth did Slade get his hands on the cash for the tower....or the tech for that matter.

He's Slade ****ing Wilson. If he can organize a group of unruly weirdos into the Titans East, he can pretty much get money anywhere.

If Slade Wilson is the benefactor of the "Godshead" (do you pronounce that Gods-Head or God-Shed?) then honestly, this will have been the most unoriginal story on the site. I'm sure Rob is going to come up with a much more interesting answer to that mystery!!

GodsHead is how I originally spelt it I just got sloppy with the capitals and it became the Godshed: home of Heaphestus' hammer, Zues' spade and Thor's mighty rake.

Can I add a little note here for the editor or Mark or whoever: the title of this arc was infact meant to be 'GodStorm:' and part one was meant to be 'Clash of the Titans' and Issue 2 'Of Fire and Steel'. Just a little thing but if someone could change it it would be nice.
