All I can say is: Wow! Home run, Mark! You've made this title your own, and this issue was fantastic.
Not only was the characterization spot-on, but the interaction between them was perfect (especially the Dick/Babs/Kory bits).
The Joker was fiendish (though I didn't get his "Aristocats" punch line) and it was great watching his confrontation with Nightwing and Batgirl--- nice to see some resolution there to something that goes back to the earliest days of our continuity.
Roy was despicable but all too human--- and ultimately more interesting.
For me, Kory stole the show in her last scene with Dick. Controversial move, there, but I loved every moment of it! can't wait to see how this progresses!
And that last scene with Raven, Wally and Donna--- this is what I've been waiting to see from the beginning! You have me on pins and needles for the next issue!
As for the cover, another great job by Ramon--- Great image of Dinah in her new costume, but I just wish Nightwing and Batgirl hadn't been decapitated!

Thanks. "Aristocats" was actually meant to be "Aristocrats" and the reference probably makes little sense if you haven't seen the film of the same name (although that's for mature audiences only, as is this week's New Outsiders which is well worth checking out for those curious to know what else happened in Vegas, and also for any fans of deja vu).

I can't seem to find the Outsiders issue......seems to be missing?
Anyway....Zatanna's dead...that's....a real bummer.
Titans are really low here....and of course Raven is talking about Trigon coming, I have no doubt.
Hope things start to turn around soon for the team, I really do.

Fantastic issue. The aristocrats joke put the icing on the cake with your Joker characterization. All around five stars and I can't wait to see what happens next!

The Aristorcrats is rumoured to be an joke is an inside joke within the acting and performing community in which the story is never told publically other than the start and punchline in which the person telling the joke has to make the person telling the story do ridiculous things and every version passed on is slightly different. As a performing arts student I found it very funny, well done. I loved the Joker's physchotic jokes and his whole sickening pleausre within killing people...and Ive only just read the Aristocrats post and I love it!

A crossover that ends with a cliffhanger? I feel ripped off! Who am I kidding this was freaking brilliant! I already mentioned how impressed I am at how both you and Brian pulled this off but it needs to be said again! I agree with David that you have made this book your own Mark. Being that this was the Teen Titans portion of the crossover I was expecting the spotlight to be more on them. The scenes that got inside Wallys head was great. I often cringe when his is portrayed as the 'not so bright one' but you really let his character shine here in a few short scenes. The scene with Dick and Kory at the end was great. I haven't seen someone so in touch with her as a character since Wolfman wrote her! Of course what happened to speedy made this issue for me. Things did not play out the way you would expect and Roy's conscience will pay the price for some time to come. Disturbing but a great piece of story telling here. I honestly haven't been following this title all that closely but after these last two issues I will definitely be back for more! Thanks Mark!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Also, I should quickly thank my editor Brian who, as well as persuading me to keep the Aristocrats scene, also provided a good portion of the dialogue herein (as those who've read New Outsiders #12 will undoubtedly have noticed).
