Whoa! That was a fun ride. I'm glad to see that my favorite character is finally happy. The stuff with Lord and Amanda was really good. You've got a great knack for dialogue, and it always makes this book an enjoyable read. Can't wait for the line-up!

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond Brian, it means a lot. I knew that June was a favorite of yours (as well as mine) so I hoped you would enjoy her happy ending, for now...

I am a latecomer to this title, but I really loved the Crisis tie-in, so I decided to give this issue a shot, to see where things were going.
I was not disappointed.
I like the Enchantress stuff (especially the backstory with Power Girl), but there is so much going on here. The pacing and plotting on this series is just so good, and for my money, much better than what Rucka is doing with his geopolitical cautionary tales in Checkmate.
Loved the scene with Negative Woman and Nightshade, and can't wait to see how this new team operates with her at the helm. Great use of cameos and name dropping, keeping the focus on the characters of the book.
Favorite scene, though: Max Lord over the bedside of Amanda Waller. Creepy! Anyone wanting clues to next summer's Crisis crossover needs to read this title (it will be integral to something big, already in motion)!
You've got a new reader, John! Can't wait to see what happens next! In the meantime, I have some back issues to catch up on!
