What a TWIST! Man to see Hal be the one that is infected with the Legion virus now was a shocker. This is going to be an interesting finish indeed. Keep up the awesome work!

Sadly, this title (for too long) has languished on the periphery of the DC2--- but no longer. This issue has catapulted Green Lantern into the top tier of books onsite (right along with New Outsiders and Danger Trail, in my book) for pure fun and kick-ass adventure. Congratulations, Charlie; you are really bringing it here, and it shows. The Hal/Guy rivalry is fun and cleverly turned on its ear by their various "transformations" at the end (I've always been a Guy Gardner fan, so I couldn't resist a big grin at his "Holy Hannah.") Good to see Chloe and her Amazing 24-month Fetus ( ); she adds an interesting dynamic to the story, especially as it finally looks like Hal, Jr is on the way! At first I was ho-hum about the interlude with Mongul and Lobo, but Mongul's backstory--- revealed here--- promises to be very significant, indeed! The insidious Legion Virus plays havoc with the Corps, Hal is tearing towards Oa, the Honor Guard braces to stop/save him, and interesting subplots are boiling all over the place: quite possibly the best issue of the series yet, certainly my favorite. And a beautiful cover from Mark Saxton, a brilliant addition to the Art Department! Very much looking forward to seeing more work from him! Five stars! Can't wait 'til next issue!

Thanks! That's a high honour indeed, and I'm glad that the title is regarded in such company. When something like that is said, you could get nervous, but... uhm, yeah, I'm now terrified The Hal/Guy rivalry is fun and cleverly turned on its ear by their various "transformations" at the end (I've always been a Guy Gardner fan, so I couldn't resist a big grin at his "Holy Hannah.") Bringing Guy to a usable position has been on the agenda since Liberation, and it's all coming together now! He's fantastic to write, and he takes centre stage soon... because of events taking place next issue! It's going to get rough! Good to see Chloe and her Amazing 24-month Fetus ( ); she adds an interesting dynamic to the story, especially as it finally looks like Hal, Jr is on the way! Yeah, Don and I have talked about Chloe in depth over the past few weeks/months, and it's been difficult bringing everything together to make it make sense as both a writer and a reader. The fact that "her" title has been beset by delays and changing writers hasn't helped, and we're only just getting back on track, so with that in mind, I think the fact of the matter is that Dan's stories took place over a very short period of time, and we're only kind of catching up with current DC2 continuity as it is. At least, in my mind. Eh, it's a sticky wicket. At first I was ho-hum about the interlude with Mongul and Lobo, but Mongul's backstory--- revealed here--- promises to be very significant, indeed! Hehehahaha... Glad you enjoyed it, and I hope that the climax to our first three-parter lives us! The series isn't slowing down any time soon!! Five stars! Can't wait 'til next issue! Fantastic

Yeah, he avoided infection in the first arc with the virus, and now it's time to see him go bad! Guy's talked about how Legion gets in your head, and it's talked about more next issue, but it's going to get right freaky before the end of next issue! Plus, we're nearing #25, and I'd be remiss to see a milestone like that go uncelebrated... heh heh heh...

YES YES YES!!!! I save that for the issues that completely bowl me over, and this was one of them. Have to admit, I laughed out loud when Chloe mentioned the baby kicking. I think at this point the baby is building its own nursery in there. ;D Serioulsy though, you've pulled off a complicated thread, what with Chloe languishing for so long on the back burner, so kudos for pulling it off so wonderfully. LOVED seeing Guy and Hal switch roles here. GREAT twist. I'm really excited about where this is going and can't wait to see what you have in store for the 25th issue. (Does anyone else remember back in the day when the big issues were 12, 24, 36 and so on?) All in all, 5 stars on this one. Sorry it took me so long to read it. One little thing, I do hope Guy doesn't lose that special charm that I've always enjoyed.

YES YES YES!!!! I save that for the issues that completely bowl me over, and this was one of them. High praise indeed, mate, thank you! Have to admit, I laughed out loud when Chloe mentioned the baby kicking. I think at this point the baby is building its own nursery in there. ;D I thought I'd throw it out there right from the start, basically show my hand and go from there. I think it would have been a great disservice to have a kid just there, I think we deserve to see the birth of the first DC2 exclusive child, right? Well, not literally... Serioulsy though, you've pulled off a complicated thread, what with Chloe languishing for so long on the back burner, so kudos for pulling it off so wonderfully. Thanks, Brian. Again, I think it would have been poor show for her to appear with a kid in hand, and us not being able to say "we were there" for their birth. I know it's become a bit of a joke, but yeah, it was either this or she was murdered. ... what?! Joking--! LOVED seeing Guy and Hal switch roles here. GREAT twist. I'm really excited about where this is going and can't wait to see what you have in store for the 25th issue. Guy and Hal are both heroes, but Guy's character evolution was stunted by his Legion ring, and now that it's off, for however long he lives, he's going to be building himself back up again. Expect cameos from "Ace" Morgan, and could there be hints of a... Warriors? And #25 is going to be big. I promise you that. Lots of thread set up there for the future, and it's continuing this weird trend I seem to have going with resolution. If you know what I mean, you might just as freaked out as me. Weird indeed. (Does anyone else remember back in the day when the big issues were 12, 24, 36 and so on?) I do. #24? The events in that issue will haunt the title for a good long time. I'm not even joking, some bad stuff is going to go down, and we're going to see Mongul go up against... well, that would be telling. All in all, 5 stars on this one. Sorry it took me so long to read it. One little thing, I do hope Guy doesn't lose that special charm that I've always enjoyed. My favourite characterisation of Guy has been Gibbon's and Tomasi's. I don't like him being a complete arsehole, to be honest. I like him being rough around the edges but I don't like him being a bastard. So you'll see him, if he lives, spouting long winded crazed speeches just as Tomasi writes him, with words that make no sense to anybody. It'll be great!
