Awesome story I loved it. I especially loved how Hal's rival is Hank Henshaw, and how the two are almost exactly alike. I am wondering if Hank is going to try to make a move on Carol too?
Can't wait till #14.

Very good issue, very well written, indeed. These are the type of issue's that intrigue me the most because they really are a bit transitional piece; setting up for future stories and all.
And boy are there stories brewing! Hank and Hal in these roles is very ingenious and quite entertaining. Nearly every character was on the money for me, although Chloe seemed a bit weaker then normal (however, being pregnant with a Green Lantern's baby could probably do that to even the strongest woman!)
And I can't wait to see what happens to Ohlm!
Very nice job. Looking forward to next issue. POKER NIGHT!!!! WOO HOO!

I really enjoy the way you're putting some great soap opera elements into play. The rivalry with Hank and Hal seems a natural, Carol is an interesting character with a lot of potential for the storylines, and while the bit with Chloe needs to start moving forward, it's nice to see someone treat her like a regular human in a bad situation, rather than a blond, two-eyed Nick Fury that she was in danger of turning into (I feel).
Hector Hammond is one of my favorite GL villains, so I look forward to seeing what's going on here. Lots of intrigue and treachery going on, it would seem.
The conversation with Alan: nicely handled.
Good job, and well done!
Take care Don

I wanted to get to this sooner, but life is what it is. It was the conversation with Alan that I looked forward to the most. Alan did the old school patter about heroism, and while Hal responded to it, I don't think that's really going to make it easy for Hal in the long run. I'm not knocking Alan's character, or Hal's, or the writing; that's just the way it is, for both of them.
Also, "Being a Senator is easier than you think." HA! Hector looks like he's stepping up!

But even the action focused issues (like 12 and 15) work to move the bigger story forward. I just hope everyone hangs on, since it is going to be one bumpy ride. Chloe is dealing with a weird situation, she wants to be that strong woman that she always has been, but the idea of a child would freak anyone out. Especially after you lie to the father of that child. Some good things coming up with Ohm, I learned to like him as I wrote about him. Poker night indeed...

Seriously, GL wouldn't be half as much fun if I didn't have someone who was as interested in a good story as I am. Thanks a million Don.

Alan's words were intentionally cheesy, and I think Hal feels a bit like you and I do. But, there's truth in every cliche, and things become hackneyed and cheesy for a reason...usually because they're right. And the Senator part was thrown in because really, what do Senator's do?

After reading this issue, and the ones previous, I have to say, I cannot wait for the promise of #14. Poker? Justice League? I'm in. Thanks for sticking around man. Oh! And I need to talk to you...
