Really enjoyed this story arc. I love how you guys have made the characters seem as if they take on the big stuff, making them the force to be reckoned with, and also very unique unlike the Distinguished Competion (DC). The ending was very well written and I loved how Sinestro took down the bad guy which I thought was very clever. I'm looking forward to what is to come, especially with the development with the Green Lanterns and Manhunters. Keep up the great work to all involved.

Whoa! As has always been the case with this title, the wait was well worth it. If you can't tell the blood, sweat, and tears that has gone into this arc, you need to reread it again! In the three years that I have been around I have had a love/like relationship with Charlie's work. I've always liked what he has written, and a lot of the time I've loved his work. THIS is one step above all that. I will hold that this is, to date, my all time favorite Charlie production. It is also VERY apprent that the leader of this division of DC2 is just as focused and carring of these characters as ever. The back-up story was phenominal as well and once again proves that Scott is the man that not only deserves a Legionaire ring, but a Lantern Corps ring as well. My respect for both of you grows with this title and this story. And don't think I didn't pick up on that ending! 5 stars, cause I can't give you all sevem, or I would.

Brian, I have to disagree with you on your opinion of my writing on this book.
Scott and I collaborated to such a degree that it's next to impossible to divide our individual efforts, so I think the reason I look good is because I had Mr K there backing me up every step of the way.
I'm not proud of how this book came out, the constant delays, the confusion with the artists, and I think I could have done a lot better with the ending, but I don't think I deserve your praise.
But thank you all for reading, it's been a learning experience.

I'd have to agree with Mr. HoM... this was a train wreck from the word 'go' (not regarding the writing per se, but regarding everything else). There was no reason it should have taken so long to come out and I do think the end product was not as good as it could have been.
Personally, I think Sinestro needs to be retired for a while. He was a central villain in the beginning of Tales of the GLC... then returned in GL #1, and then back again in GL #8. I think it's time to give other devils their due.
Starting next issue we'll have a new regular ongoing writer that'll be taking us back into the direction I originally intended this book to go in. Reimagining Green Lantern and his villains in an 'Ultimate' or 'All Star' flair. And we'll finally get to see Hector Hammond!
I do appreciate the kind words though Brian...
As far as the backup feature in this issue...
Freakin' amazing! Our founder can write any character, regardless of how underdeveloped they may have been in the mainstream, and make them pop. Davids treatment of Tomar Re just knocked my socks off and I'm sure it'll do the same for each of you! Worth 'pickin up' the book just to read that.

Well, I'm not familiar with the ins and outs of how this issue, so I guess I was looking at it through different eyes. I will agree that Sinestro seems to be a bit over done at this point (but who am I to talk, I used The Royal Flush Gang and Joker for almost a year, lol) For what it is worth, I thought the concept behind the story was extremely interesting and I hold to the fact that whatever it took to do it, I personally enjoyed it. Granted, I also enjoy General Hospital, so perhaps I'm not the best person to gauge things. Also, an apology. I read the backup and was also blown away by it, but I didn't pay attention to who had written it. My assumption was Scott. Rereading it, I see that it was our esteemed David Charlton. A great knock out of a piece, Sir!

Thanks to all for their kind words about my guest-stint on the back-up feature! It was a hoot to write, and something I'd been looking forward to doing ever since Scott concocted the whole Manhunter War (way back before the first DC2 crisis). For those of you who haven't checked it out yet, do so: it's a sweeping, galactic epic that will rival the brilliant Sinestro Corps storyline in the DCU title--- and no, the yet-to-be-revealed villain isn't a certain overused Korugaran.
