I was really impressed with this issue! The Legion Virus arc is a rollicking space opera that combines the subtle horror elements of a George Romero film with the derring-do of (early) George Lucas.
Was anyone else struck by how much the GLC seem like the Jedi Knights of the DC2? What a cool concept! Frankly, I think it was there all the time (as the Corps pre-dates Star Wars), but Lantern Lad ingeniously brings it to the fore.
I am loving this look at the Corps, pre-Hal, and really getting an appreciation for the other GLs (a pity Abin has to die--- he's growing on me!), as LL builds a sense of history and backstory...
Oh, and an editorial note to the readers: if you set the covers to issues 1 and 2 side by side, you have one big wraparound masterpiece, drawn by the writer himself! This image will definately see the light of day, probably in the March edition of DC2 Illustrated!
One more note: don't forget to check out our monthly TGLC back-up feature; things are heating up quick as our newest GL mixes it up in the far reaches of the DC2. Woundedtrojan gives us the first glance at some remote but familiar locales in the next installment of his epic Carthag saga!

I have to agree with Idle's take on this. There is a definate "jedi" feel to it that is awesome. Of course the end made me want to scream, "Not yet...keep going!" Which in my opinion is one of the signs of an enjoyable book. Hats off to you Scott! The back up story was just as great! Again it made me wanting more. Good job woundedtrojen!!!

I'm liking the Legion story. It borrows from Emerald Dawn and Emerald Twilight and takes great elements from both. Nice characterization. Fun to read. I like the different take on Sinestro ... the unwilling agent of the Qward.

The main story reflects a writer that has done his homework. THE back up story I find fresh and very VERY interesting. The concept of a new GL connected with many long lost events is making me waiting for more.
Does WT work on something else?
