mmmm I don't know how to "quote" this part of the story but I think it might be poetry.
He listened to the wind, a sweet song playing across the instruments of the plain. Not a whistle, not a howl, but a gentle whisper that held words that were not made to be understood. He loved it, he embraced it and he let it dominate his thoughts. There was no distant sounds of traffic or the city, no cries for help, just him and the fields.

A really nice "quiet before the storm" interlude, a great thematic follow-up to the non-Superman focused story of the previous Action Comics issue you wrote. Lots of balls in the air, great to see Power Girl still in the fold, and some fun interactions between the extended Kent family. Conner being the subject of some light familial bullying was cute, and it's wonderful to see Kara continue to come out of her shell. The plot continues to thicken in the Fortress, and the upcoming issues of the Superman-family of titles promise to hold many challenges for everyone involved!

Thank you both! I am experimenting with my writing; working on imagery and dialogue, not just telling a story. Charlie has really been helpful with that. The way they were teasing Conner was how I see my middle school age nieces and nephews tease each other and wanted to incorporate that private family feel. Jokes like that wouldn’t be made outside of the family, but when it is just them there is a different interaction. Thank you for the compliments and I will continue to work on polishing my writing.
