Hi. I am new here to dc2universe.net.
I am SupermanKal114. I am a big fan of the DC Comics mythology. Like many of you, I am also fustrated at the things DC has done with their "New 52" project.
I am making my very own DC Universe. It's called DCU Reborn. This world is a fusion of comic books and other media (movies, tv video games, etc.)
I will post ideas every day (as possible).
Do you want to hear my ideas? And if I need help with some ideas, could you help me?

OK.
DCU Headcanon #1: Lois Lane discovers Clark Kent's Kryptonian heritage before he begins his superhero career.

Like from Man of Steel, eh?
Hmm. Any more hints at to what you have planned for this?

Very interesting, would love to hear your ideas. I think I try working in quite a bit of the cross-media into whatever I'm doing here, so it'd be cool seeing where you draw from.
Always happy to bounce ideas around, never turn down a good brainstorm.

Like from Man of Steel, eh? Hmm. Any more hints at to what you have planned for this? First, yeah, like Man of Steel. I loved the idea of Lois finding out about Clark rather than cluelessly unaware that her co-worker is Superman. Second, yes I have more hints to what I have planned.

DCU Headcanon #2: Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) and Maxima are a couple. I know it's weird and random, but I think it makes sense because even though Ted isn't as powerful as Superman or Captain Atom, his genius-level intelligence and spy skills impressed Maxima. Also, they would give Scott and Barda a run for their money.

That is an intriguing take on the power/odd couple. Can't wait to see more.

DCU Headcanon #3: Remember Gus Gorman from Superman III? In my version of Earth-1, he is re-imagined as a child prodigy, a young computer genius graduating from MIT at the age of 17. He is Dr. Emil Hamilton's top computer expert at S.T.A.R. Labs. He is also best friends with Jimmy Olsen and dating Natasha Irons.
Visually, he looks like Donald Glover (from Community) wearing a S.T.A.R. Labs lab coat with a Superman t-shirt, glasses, and jeans.

Sounds pretty well thought out. Are you thinking of developing this all for stories?

DCU Headcanon #4: The DCU is set in a modern setting, but everything isn't as dark as the New 52.

So, if you were going to pick a character or characters to introduce this world to readers, who would they be? What would truly set this Earth's continuity apart to grab the attention of our audience?

A. I would pick Superman to introduce readers to my world.
B. My continuity is different because it goes against some traditions (like Lois Lane being clueless about Superman's secret identity), includes elements characters and storylines from other media (movies, gaming, television) and the atmosphere is more optimistic and inspiring.

Gotcha.
Honestly, this sounds more like an Elseworlds Superman tale to me. With most Elseworlds tales having their own Earths in the 52, I guess it's more a matter of character to concept driven approach.
You've got your general tone and a basic idea on how you want your Superman/Lois character dynamic to work. I would say get a story idea hammered out and see where it takes you!

A Superman series set in Earth 52 would be a good way to introduce it all.
I'm acting Elseworlds Editor here, if you want to send me a message and get started on this. Happy to help you get this off the ground.

My origin of Superman is a clash of multiple sources: Superman: The Movie, DCAU, Smallville, Birthright, Secret Origin and Man of Steel.

OK, time to update: One idea I had is that Batman has a section of the Batcave called "the Garage". This section stores several incarnations of the Batmobile.
Here's a list of the Batmobiles seen in the Garage:
Batmobile (Batman, 1966 TV series) Batmobile (1988) Batmobile (Batman/Batman Returns) Batmobile (Batman: The Animated Series) Batmobile (1996) Batmobile (The New Batman Adventures) Batmobile (2004) Batmobile (The Batman) Batmobile (Tumbler) Batmobile (2008) Batmobile (Legends of the Dark Knight: "Darker than Death") Batmobile (Arkhamverse) Batmobile (Batman: The Return) Batmobile (Batman: The Brave and the Bold)

Neat. I'm such a fan of those scenes when they pop up, looking at all the Easter eggs in the comics and animated scenes where we see things like all the batmobiles lined up, or all the various costumes in cases in the back. Totally a fun thing to see each and every time it appears.
Take care Don

I'm still dancing around where to put my first work for this site. If sidf26 and want to get with me and develop a new universe/elseworlds take for the site, it could be interesting. You can never have too much variety. Just throwing my hat out there if anyone is interested.
