Big thanks to Alex for talking through a real cool cover concept with me, I'm really pleased with how it turned out! Good work, my friend!

First off, yes, that's one cool cover.
There are a couple of typos and punctuation errors (it kicks off with Kyle Rayner "actually live! With them"), but that's just niggly stuff.
Still love your use of colour codes. It's a really minor thing, but it's a good example of using the board tools to add cool touches to your work, and it really does infuse your story with that splash of lantern colour. The way you treat the rings in general is really neat, actually, with this back-and-forth between Lantern and ring, the little formatting touches (the /// just looks right, somehow). Full marks for presentation. Really works well. As does your breathless, enthusiastic PREVIOUSLY opening. Again, minor thing, but it makes the story into a spectacle, big and bold and entertaining.
As in the last issue, great use of a broad roster of characters. You're hitting them with an equally broad range of threats, each more doom-laden than the last.
Red Lanterns have me hooked, you've made them a nicely sinister and brutal foe (Guy Gardener being called a "dog bitch" was ugly, and fitting language for a rage-filled Red Lantern).
Can't wait for the Parallax View!

Can't wait for the Parallax View! Alex took my concept and ran with it, and I love that you can't see Atrocitus' face, it's just... perfect. Team work, ho! Apologies for the errors. You're lucky you weren't around back at the start! I was young and even more grammatically error prone! Things are only going to get bigger, characters are going to interact in ways and combinations you haven't seen before, and then... and then... Well. Keep reading.

To the one of you reading this book, sorry for the delay in this latest issue.
Will hopefully have it up sooner rather than later.
BAH! BAH HUMBUG!

Catching up on some feedback. Well done on this issue Charlie. Great job in bringing the Red Lanterns to the DC2. They are incredibly menacing and I love how you've given us all we need to know what their deal is and how they do what they do, without bogging it down with unnecessary exposition. You also did a good job of weaving in the other members of the GL cast without taking away from the momentum of the story. High octane, non-stop action. Love it.

All feedback very much appreciated! The cast is so large, it's sometimes hard to juggle them, but I think it's going well so far. Plus, over the next few issues, the cast gets even bigger...!

Crazy good issue! That first scene with the attack of the Red Lanterns was scary, suspenseful and very well done!
Your use of Sinestro as a tragic hero is a lot of fun. I'm starting to see a trend in the GL books, of basically good people being used for evil ends (Sinestro, Henshaw, Bradley Roth in a later issue); not a criticism, just an observation.
I admit, I'm a little confused by what you're doing with baby Soranik, but I suppose that's the point.
Speaking of mysteries: "Is it time yet?" from John's ring...? Hmm! Just exactly what does that mean?
And that ending...! That was a big ending. How could I not read the next issue immediately after?

Crazy good issue! That first scene with the attack of the Red Lanterns was scary, suspenseful and very well done! Red Lanterns should be scary, I don't know how I feel about them becoming anti-heroes, but I'm going to make their origins, and their power source, very terrifying by the end of #50. At least, that's the plan. Your use of Sinestro as a tragic hero is a lot of fun. I'm starting to see a trend in the GL books, of basically good people being used for evil ends (Sinestro, Henshaw, Bradley Roth in a later issue); not a criticism, just an observation. I'm glad you noticed! It's a conscious decision in this phase of the book, and then we do something new after #50. I'm putting all the toys back together after they've been used so violently these past eight years, and then I get to build a whole new series of events and heartbreak and horror on top of that new foundation! I admit, I'm a little confused by what you're doing with baby Soranik, but I suppose that's the point. Sinestro finds a baby, what else is he going to call her but Soranik? Speaking of mysteries: "Is it time yet?" from John's ring...? Hmm! Just exactly what does that mean? All will be revealed in #9 (49)! And that ending...! That was a big ending. How could I not read the next issue immediately after? Thank you, sir! Really glad to be getting feedback on this title!
