Best issue of the series, you had me gripped from beginning to end and what a finale! Bravo Chris for crafting a tale that has at last gripped me 'twixt my legs and refused to let go. Great characterisation, great dialogue and all the things that I didn't like from the first issue (lack of characterisation, stiff dialogue) has gone, to be replaced with awesomeness! You're drawing with Best Issue Of The Week with Tales of the Green Lantern Corps! Now read The Flash!

Great, now I've gotta start reading Powers, Inc.
Terrific finish to a fun mini series. The conversation with Green Arrow was well done (and every hero should have a GA moment). I have not read Powers yet but from just this little taste of it I'm sure I'd enjoy that title too. And with the Beetle aboard I don't know how I can avoid it.
I liked the resolution of the plotlines and the villain of the piece revealed to be Savage. Everything wrapped up nicely and is a good lead in for Ted to join Powers.
And bwa-ha-ha. SO glad to see bwa-ha-ha where the Beetle is concerned. Great job.

Thanks! I am glad you both enjoyed it. Powers, Inc is worth reading. Especially when it gets written.
Thanks to artteach for the last minute cover and to everyone else who helped with the covers on this series.
Thanks to Dave for letting me go WAY off my original pitch and for editing the pelethora of typos and mistakes I am sure I made.
Thanks again to Dread for the intro to issue one.
I had a lot of fun writing this and look forward to Ted being a part of Powers, Inc. Thanks to everyone who read it , wether you liked it or not. Also look for Ted to be in Gotham for the Halloween special!

Really great job! Great wrap up, and loved the use of Savage. Can't wait to see him over at Powers Inc. You did a terrific job with this entire series CoS and have a lot to be proud of!

Chris, you definately saved the best for last! And while your original proposal was good, it changed for the better! Great use of all the characters you worked with--- you really have found Ted's voice, and should be very proud that you've brought him so succesfully to life for the DC2!
Nice twist with Vandal Savage at the end (man, he was pretty busy in antiquity--- please see The Immortal Legend of Hawkman Issue 0 for more details!).
I felt that Tracy got rehabilitated and off the hook pretty quickly--- especially after murdering Ted's uncle!--- and half expected her to don the armor and return eventually as an archenemy of the Blue Beetle (hint, hint!)...
Though it is clear that the Beetle has a destiny with Powers, Inc. I hope we haven't seen the last of Ted's solo adventures!
Oh, and freakin' awesome cover! Love the billboard and the look on Ted and Ollie's faces... Gotta be in the top ten greatest DC2 covers of all time!

Thanks D! I agree Savage is pretty busy. Who said Tracy was rehibilitated? I agree about the cover. It is a classic.
