Much like the issue before this one, it's a carbon copy of it's animated series counterpart, so it's pretty clear where everything's going and what's going to happen. The dialogue is kind of flat, but the action and characterization is fun. I'd like to see where this series goes and see how it differs from the animated series.

so you noticed that huh lol.... yeah, it's a close copy, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, seeing as the first episode of the series was pretty rad... (at least I thought it was)...... Another thing too was that I had to stick to the framework already laid out by the previous writer, so I couldn't deviate too much. Hopefully you'll stick around for a bit and bear with me as I try to live up to the amazing writers who worked on the series. (thanks for the honesty, too. I appreciate it.)

I liked it. Yes it is a lot like the animated series(which I also really liked) but like you said, I don't think that's such a bad thing. I think the thing I really liked about this issue was Terry's inner monologue. It was fun to see what he was thinking reacting to the suit.

Since I didn't follow the Beyond animated series, much, this works for me just fine. My main concern is what happens to certain, shall we say, other members of the legacy.

But so far, so good.

I figured... just didn't want to make an assumption without proper ground...... anyways, as for oracle, well, Babs never became oracle in the show and I think that's one element I want to stick with....... the others well.... that's tougher to say...... I'm currently planning several issues ahead (I'm already plotting issue #7 on paper) and I have a lot of ground to cover, so don't count on seeing some of those guys (and girls) for awhile.... ..... then again, I could just be pulling your leg..... they could all be in the next issue bwahahahaha!.... ok, so they aren't, but stick around! I'll try my best to at least touch on everyone and show what they're up to...... oh and one last thing........ Max kind of takes the place of oracle in a sense.... in Batman Beyond she was Terry's oracle, so she will remain in that capacity during my run...... don't worry though, even though one or two things will remain the same you CAN expect a good few changes in other areas..... you'll just have to stick around to see them.. (can't give everything away right now, can I? lol).........

Another great issue. Like Jay, I never really watched the Batman Beyond series, so this is really working for me. Though I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of Huntress action, myself.

Very nice cover, too, by the way. Can't wait for the next issue.

thanks, Brian, glad you liked it! I'm still deciding what to do with certain characters like Huntress... I'm a big fan of Black Canary and Zatanna myself but I'm finding it hard to work them into this title since they would be aged a good bit, so, while some characters may not be able to hold a very prominent role in the series, I'll try my best to at least show what they're up to at some point. wish me luck! I've got a lot of ground to cover.
