My first seventy-fifth issue, and the conclusion to an arc that started last year. Yikes.
It only made sense for this issue to come out prior to my second seventy-fifth issue which hits next week.
I'll dissect it at a later date.

And that’s a wrap on Green Lantern Corps.
I’ve written this title for forty-four issues and had a hand in the editorial direction for a dozen or so issues before that. That doesn’t include the specials or miniseries that came into it, but yeah, forty-four issues is a solid run and… I’m not done yet.
But I think Green Lantern Corps is going to rest for a bit.
It’s been a blast, don’t get me wrong, and I have plans to continue this saga I started back in Green Lantern #31… you can tell from that majestic Next Time… piece Roy and I put together, teasing the next stage of the run. Not only will it continue… but it will conclude.
But with all my other writing and editing responsibilities on the site, as well as my wanting to get Checkmate, The Flash, Hellblazer and something Suicide Squad-related out in the near future—as well as the final four issues of Omega Crisis, the continuing Justice League title that’s entering the biggest phase of it’s run, and that 10YL-related ongoing I keep telling anyone who’ll listen about… oh and that Blue Beetle mini I’ve announced… and all those one-shots I have planned for early next year… and that event miniseries some of you are aware is hopefully coming out in the next couple of months… you can see how tight my schedule is becoming.
So.
Green Lantern Corps will return. It’ll come back in a different form than before. And it’ll be god damn mental, I promise.
To be continued.

Pretty disappointed no one has read / commented on this issue, especially considering it was the end of the latest phase of the book. I see Green Lantern #31-51 as a self contained saga, while also acting as the first act in a larger tale, then Green Lantern Corps #52-75 (we re-titled the book) as the next. It's also double-especially didisapointing because I just started working on the next issue. Cover is picked out, 1000+ words in... but what's the point in continuing if there's no one reading?!

After a slog through college junior year and scripting a horror movie; I have returned to this community once more and ready for writing issues. The coronavirus has given plenty of time to catch up on DC2 events and I just finished reading the entire GL series.

After a slog through college junior year and scripting a horror movie; I have returned to this community once more and ready for writing issues. The coronavirus has given plenty of time to catch up on DC2 events and I just finished reading the entire GL series. What did you think? To quote the title; it was an “End of An Era” The dynamic duo of Kyle and Sinestro was excellent; although the Starheart does make me feel worried for Alan Scott and his recent resurrection from being comatose. Also what is going to happen to John Stewart? The story has now left me gripping my seat for what is going to happen in the cosmos when John Stewart leaves Earth.
