I really need to comment more just to let Charlie know how much I admire his work. Both GLC and Justice League have been epics in terms of story. This particular arc is really fun for me as I love zombies, even though they can be used a bit excessively. And can I just say Coast City gets no breaks. Anyways it’s cool to see you tie in plot points from like thirty issues ago and I can tell you have a long running grand vision for the series. Hopefully I might get a hint of what that is in the glimpse into the future mentioned in the preview. As long you keep on writing I’ll be reading.

I really began to dig into the tragedy of Coast City with this arc, which has it's ties to one of the first events the DC2 ever ran on the site... but I'll get into that when Green Lantern Corps Annual #3 hits next month. What I'm trying to do is wrap up threads from the first seventy-five issues so I can launch into the next big chunk of the run, but when you're writing the events tend to set themselves up, so it's tough going! These guys are going to have a really difficult go of it by the time the final part hits, and I'm psyched to look back on it when the annual lands. Thanks for reading! As I'm sure you understand, it's really hard to write in a vacuum, and over the last year or so I find myself contemplating packing it all in. I'm writing because the stories in my head need writing (or they'll clog up the works), but when you don't get any feedback on your efforts it's so defeating. I'm not in a place where I have the confidence to spruce up my original work and try and do something with that, so the DC2 is a very safe space for me, but it can also be like throwing hard work into a void. Eh. Difficult. These last couple of months have been very densely plotted, more so than any work I've done before. I think the only time I came close in my original run on the site was Secret Society of Super Villains and my original run on Green Lantern before I took a hiatus. I knew exactly what I wanted to do and did just that. When I came back, Justice League presented a really interesting opportunity. I was told, I can't remember by whom, that a Big Seven Justice League roster was the best way to get eyes on the book, but it was clear within the first six issues that it wasn't going to be that way. The DC2 isn't what it used to be, so why not just go at it in as fun a way as possible? And then in Green Lantern Corps, I'm like a snake eating it's own tail with the way I cannibalise continuity to build this terrifying house of cards of plot. It's going to be exciting hitting Green Lantern Corps #75 in a few months, and I have a massive announcement about the future of the title with that issue.
