And we're back! Issue Twenty-Six is the triumphant return of the DC2 Green Lantern title, back on a monthly schedule, from the team of returning writer House Of Mystery, new cover artist Nathan Kilburn, and the returning editor Don Walsh! This issue was a massive team effort, some eleventh hour rewrites shifting the whole storyline into something much sharper... and much more scarier!
Might just be that Hal Jordan is about to learn if he truly is the DC2's very own "Man Without Fear"...
Please tell us what you thought of this issue!

That was great! It's been so long since the last one I forgot how great this was. John Stewart now on board make this book even more interesting now. Can't wait to see your plans for the Predator and the Zamoran's. Keep up the stellar work.

So pumped to be reading some new GL. Great issue guys I can't wait to see what happens next. Very psyched to see you wanting to see more issues of this series! We're written up until... the December issue, and from there we're going somewhere else entirely, so hopefully you stay onboard. Lots of exciting stuff planned. Lots of big events, lots of big characters, and the return of a load of familiar faces.

Can't wait to see your plans for the Predator and the Zamoran's. Keep up the stellar work. Yeah, I know it's been a while, but after losing Jessica on covers, I suddenly didn't know what to do, so I just came to a halt. Now we're back on track, and it doesn't look like we're going to stop. I'm psyched! John Stewart had to be part of the Corps, he had to be, but I like twisting things, just like Dan Palmer did before me-- he's the rookie, Kyle, Guy and Hal all came first, so he's going to be on this learning curve, but that's not going to stop him from being the best he can be. I love John, so he'll be working hard to be the greatest Lantern he potentially will. And the Predator is something I've wanted to use for years, since I read one of the earliest appearances of the character from the DCUniverse, and I can promise he's not going to be like the current incarnation in the Johns title. He's going to be a whole lot scarier. Yay!

Hank's the Predator? Didn't see that coming...wait, does this have to do with the Purple Ray? It does, doesn't it? Y'know, I wondered why you tossed out that old chestnut back when Hank died! You sly fox, you!

You sly fox, you! I couldn't possibly comment on any of that, could I? AND NEITHER CAN DON! Thanks so much for reading, Susan. It means so much to me. I love writing this title and it always warms me when people give it a go.

So glad to see this title return! I hadn't realized it, but Green Lantern has become one of my all-time favorite DC2 titles. It has not been this engrossing since Scott's original run on Green Lantern Corps, five years ago (ironically, this run reads more like a GLC, while Scott's was pretty much full-on GL ). That said, this was not my favorite issue. While I love the fact that Hal has a baby with Chloe, I'm not a big fan of his romance with her. It feels forced. It feels like he's with her out of obligation to their daughter, and not because he loves her like he loves Carol. Hal should be self-aware enough to know this... But I get the impression that this might just be a key contributing factor to this "Love Lost" arc...? My only other complaint is: not enough Hal! Lots of stuff going on in this issue, with some very interesting stuff brewing, for sure, and while I enjoy Guy and John and the other Corpsman, I want to see Hal Jordan Han Solo-ing it up across the spaceways! I know he's got a lot on his plate right now, but kicking back in Smallville feels out of character for a man everyone calls Highball! That being said--- (and aside from a few very odd grammatical choices: people "being stood" in doorways and for some reason the Predator is besotted, and not the objects of his attention)--- I really enjoyed this issue. The cover was simply gorgeous (nice job, Nathan!), the writing was taut and gripping, and the plot seems to be developing into something big and fun. I will definitely be back next issue!

Why thank you, I'm still having a blast writing this title, and even though it's been a few months between issues, it feels like no time at all. Glad to be back and, erhem, "recharged". That said, this was not my favorite issue. While I love the fact that Hal has a baby with Chloe, I'm not a big fan of his romance with her. It feels forced. I wish I could answer your queries most effectively but a lot of this will be answered as the series continues. Lots of plans, yes, lots of answers to your questions and concerns... See you next month!

Great issue Chuck! Though, I agree with David... there were a few grammatical... ummm... indiscretions. :-D
Overall I like what I see, and I'll be back to read the next installment!

I'm glad the "indiscretions" (really? "indiscretions" is what we're calling them?) didn't ruin your enjoyment of the issue, and I have an idea why they're there (mass rewrites at the eleventh hour) but it's cool, I like where this issue is building toward, and I hope I can deliver on that promise.

indiscretions sounds so much better than what I would call them when I did them (massive f-ups)... which boy did I!

Finished the next issue's rewrites today and sent it off for editing again-- psyched with how this is shaping up!
We're really bringing our A-Games to the proceedings, and I'm loving every minute of it.
Also wrote the five page fight scene that concludes this arc in #29. It's... harrowing.
