Awesome! Guy being infected with the yellow power ring should be fun. I loved his expression when he figured out who he wanted to go after. "Hal E$%^ing Jordan " That's so Guy-ish and funny but at the same time you're saying to yourself, "this is not going to be good for Hal." I think the fight between them next issue is going to be brilliant. My favorite scene of the issue had to be when Guy first woke up and the yellow ring was trying to pretty much brainwash him by correcting some of his opinions. Pretty cool. I liked the cover to the issue a lot too because it was fairly straightforward with just a picture of Guy with a yellow ring but at the same time I felt it fitted the issue really well(loved his expression on the cover. Guy Gardnerish but with a bit of an edgy look) 5 stars all around! Looking forward to the rest of this arc(I love Guy so don't screw this up, Charlie ...I kid, I kid )

"Hal E$%^ing Jordan " That's so Guy-ish and funny but at the same time you're saying to yourself, "this is not going to be good for Hal." That was a cool scene to write-- we're going to get into what Power Rings do for their bearers in a few issues... and I think it's always smart to not get complacent when you wear one. Guy's been in space for a couple of years now, and the only thing that's kept him going is his ring. Without it... he'd be near skeletal, and dead. Simply. I think the fight between them next issue is going to be brilliant. Oh, I hope so. It won't go how you think. My favorite scene of the issue had to be when Guy first woke up and the yellow ring was trying to pretty much brainwash him by correcting some of his opinions. Pretty cool. Yeah, that was a blast. That entire segue was fun, and Guy is one of my all-time favourite characters, so yeah, using him in this way is fantastic for me. I liked the cover to the issue a lot too because it was fairly straightforward with just a picture of Guy with a yellow ring but at the same time I felt it fitted the issue really well(loved his expression on the cover. Guy Gardnerish but with a bit of an edgy look) Jessica, like I've said before, is wonderful to work with. She's currently nursing a broken leg though, so hopefully she'll get well soon! 5 stars all around! Looking forward to the rest of this arc(I love Guy so don't screw this up, Charlie ...I kid, I kid ) You're not the only one, Pat, so don't worry, I'm feeling the pressure!

What is with this vogue of putting the credits at the end of the issue, Charlie? You've been doing it for a while now with certain issues, and I can't figure out what it means... is there some sort of dramatic impact I'm missing? But that is a minor quibble to an otherwise excellent issue! The cover (when I got to it at the end ) was another brilliant piece by Jessica Byrnes, and I suppose the yellow shading is no mistake, given the nature of the story! The history lesson of the Guardians was mostly familiar stuff we already knew, but it was well done and set the stage for what will undoubtedly be a larger story. Plus it had some nice character work. I see Guy is back to being a jerkwad--- just the way we like him! Great showdown between him and Hal, and this is only the beginning! The reappearance of the Legion Virus makes me nostalgic for the early days of the site, and Scott Kruger's original run on the title, and I can see that this is a return to greatness for GL! Five stars! Keep up the good work!

What is with this vogue of putting the credits at the end of the issue, Charlie? You've been doing it for a while now with certain issues, and I can't figure out what it means... is there some sort of dramatic impact I'm missing? Obviously not, and it's just me messing around with layout and what not. If it's not working for you, I'll consider moving it about, but it's just taking a visual lead from recent comics, and the placement of titles and what not. But that is a minor quibble to an otherwise excellent issue! The cover (when I got to it at the end ) was another brilliant piece by Jessica Byrnes, and I suppose the yellow shading is no mistake, given the nature of the story! Jessica, as I keep saying, continually wows with her art. I can't wait to see the next cover completed, having seen the rough pencils already...! The history lesson of the Guardians was mostly familiar stuff we already knew, but it was well done and set the stage for what will undoubtedly be a larger story. Plus it had some nice character work. A lot of the stuff you read here would be intrinsically familiar to you-- it's from Tales of the Green Lantern Corps #0, with a slight spin on events and what not. Scott's run is one of the things I reread when I started working on this run, and plotting out threads, and it's one of the best GL tales on the site, bar none. I see Guy is back to being a jerkwad--- just the way we like him! Great showdown between him and Hal, and this is only the beginning! Guy's back, and next issue, it's going to get brutal! The reappearance of the Legion Virus makes me nostalgic for the early days of the site, and Scott Kruger's original run on the title, and I can see that this is a return to greatness for GL! Exactly, and thank you! Five stars! Keep up the good work! Booya! Will do!

I feel like it's been forever since we've got some Guy action and I'm jumping up and down with excitement (metaphorically speaking, of course). The history lesson was probably needed, but I could have easily breezed through it if it hadn't been for the great work you did with Ganthet and the others on this. About time my favorite little blue guy gets some quality time. Still no Chloe... hmmm... Here's a thought about the cover and credits at the end. I see what you're doing, and it is big in comics these days to put those credits at the end. However, you might want to put the cover at the beginning so that it not only catches the readers eye (which is going to happen with such brilliant talent like we've got) but it also gives said artist the top billing that they so right deserve. Yet, you can still save the actual credits for the end if you want. Just a thought, please don't think I'm trying to tell you what to do or anything. I'm really loving this run. Great job all the way around. WOO HOO, Guy!!!

I like the implications that you're bringing in with Mongul and now the Legion Virus acting up. I mean, it was cool at first when Guy became a "Yellow Lantern" but he could only wear that ring for so long before the consequences caught up with him.
I liked the part with the Guardians, especially the dropped hints to the other Corps. from Blackest Night like Hope, Compassion, Terror (Fear), and Rage.
WHERE'S CHLOE!? Or at least an acknowledgement from Carol that she knows and is pissed at Hal.
I like how Hank is continuing to grow in power because it just makes me more apprehensive for when he might turn.
Very nice, if somewhat basic issue. It left me wanting more!

I feel like it's been forever since we've got some Guy action and I'm jumping up and down with excitement (metaphorically speaking, of course). He played a major role in Green Lantern Corps: Liberation, and this arc plays off that, and future arcs tie into that as well. It's all connected, as I keep saying for some weird, inane reason The history lesson was probably needed, but I could have easily breezed through it if it hadn't been for the great work you did with Ganthet and the others on this. About time my favorite little blue guy gets some quality time. I have an issue coming up that reveals the new nature of the Guardians since the events of the IXE and their time within Kyle, and also a story I've had planned for months now, involving... well, I don't want to reveal it, but it's a mystery that's going to take the greatest minds of the Green Lantern Corps itself to solve! Still no Chloe... hmmm... I must have confused myself, it's not this issue, it's next issue, and it's big, and it continues without a moment's hesitation, until #26. Big stuff. Big, continuing stuff. Great job all the way around. WOO HOO, Guy!!! Thanks Brian!

I like the implications that you're bringing in with Mongul and now the Legion Virus acting up. I mean, it was cool at first when Guy became a "Yellow Lantern" but he could only wear that ring for so long before the consequences caught up with him. Completely, and this arc is all about how that ring can corrupt, and the danger it holds to the universe. Next week, it gets turned up to eleven, and barely ratchets down for the next few months. I liked the part with the Guardians, especially the dropped hints to the other Corps. from Blackest Night like Hope, Compassion, Terror (Fear), and Rage. Nothing is as it seems in the DC2. We've done "Yellow Corps War" with Legion way-back-when, before Sinestro Corps came to light, and we're not going to have a Blackest Night event like the one you're reading now in the DCU, but there is something coming, and it all ties to what Scott did with both his runs on the titles. WHERE'S CHLOE!? Or at least an acknowledgement from Carol that she knows and is pissed at Hal. Why would she be pissed? Anyways, they meet up next week. I like how Hank is continuing to grow in power because it just makes me more apprehensive for when he might turn. Turn into what? Hank's story takes a turn in #24, and you get to see him at his rip-roaring best. He's a brilliant character to write, and the fact that everyone's expecting him to go Cyborg-Superman or something (he's never met Superman! How the devil could that even happen??) is exhilarating for me as a writer. Very nice, if somewhat basic issue. It left me wanting more! Basic doesn't mean bad
