Me first, me first! ;D Darn good, and darn surprising: when you had Hal get all smashed up, I honestly thought that Guy would be chosen first this time. PSYCH! Plus Morgan recognizing the GL symbol...oh, what are you planning here? Gotta wait a month to find out!

Definitely my favourite issue so far! I loved the portrayals of both Hal and Guy (especially Guy). So, Hal's all set up, I was off the edge of my seat for the first time in the story, and then ya go and introduce...CHLOE! I nearly fell off! lol ;D

It wasn't Morgan that recognized the GL symbol, it was Flagg. whew... thought I screwed something up there. If you folks have liked the brief introduction of DEO agent Chloe Sullivan... just wait, you ain't seen nothing yet! Did you all catch her first appearance in Superboy & the Legion of Superheroes!?

In case there's any doubt, Superboy and the Legion of Super Heroes is definately in continuity for the DC2...
This was a superb introduction of Hal Jordan, and a much better reinvention of Guy Gardner. This issue is chock-full of cool stuff: from the aerial derring-do of the top-gun cowboys (Scott, you have really done your homework here!), to the many nods to the rich and varied history of the DCU with the inclusion of General Flagg, "Ace" Morgan, King Farraday and Chloe Sullivan.
Also, readers take note: important events are beginning to take shape here that will resonate across the DC2 for a very long time to come...

Huh? Did I say the wrong name? Sorry, new folks to learn, I goofed. Mainly I was surprised at someone recognizing the symbol, the who wasn't of relevance to me. And I read the Legion issue...when are we getting more of those BTW?

Hey, I can use my Susiefangirl handle for my Legion codename! I never thought of that before! ;D I have the power to translate Interlac without a code key, and to remember useless obscure facts from all corners of the comic book galaxy. Oh, and I make really good fried chicken.

You're in! Susiefan Girl...
Can you really decipher Interlac? I've been into the Legion almost all my life & I can't make heads of tails of it... maybe we should team up for an issue or two! Let me know if you're interested & I'll show you the plot points for the first 13 issues!

scott you know what would be an awesome story, if Carol is all on Hal to propose and thanks to that damn leap year women can propose to men and hal has to try to keep her attention away from it as the green lantern. so he creates a fake ring construct monster and sends it on a fake rampage BUT he is blindsided by a kids remote control airplane and knocked unconcious. now here is where it goes crazy, the damn thing heads torwards the coast city nuclear power plant while hal is knocked out! will hal save the day?
