This is a brilliant composed piece, the characters in all the right positions to make it a dynamic viewing pleasure. The care and effort put into every character is evident, and the attention to detail... is beyond belief. This is a real testament to the viability of the DC2-- unique character interpretations, and Steve, the research you've done-- I mean, that staff of Zenobia's, I remember seeing that on Carlos' cover way back when! You care about these characters, it's brilliant.

I agree. Brilliant is exactly the word I was going to use. Steve, you were born to draw these girls. I especially love your Dawn. Exalt.

Drawn beautifully as always, although the pose and the open shirt somehow reminds me more of Cat Grant than Lois Lane. I automatically had to think of the "silicone" scene in Supergirl. LOL

She looks inquisitive, sexy, fun and ambitious--- all things Lois Lane needs to be! I'd say you nailed it, Steven! Those legs are smoking!

Duuuude, that cover rocks. I thought Lois right away, Cat Grant is generally obviously much sluttier whereas this is like, she's clearly a freak but it's in a more conservative way. I'm digging it a lot. Just another great cover from you, man.

Woof. Lois looks like a bombshell, but the part I was focusing on was the background. The view outside of the window is done very well. The reflection off the glass from glare, the distant, perfectly shaded, and futuristic buildings... I believe that that IS Metropolis.
And Lois...... well..... yeah...... umm....... yeah...... nice.....

here's the diffferent stages to making the new Birds of Prey cover I love seeing stuff like this-- the process really fascinates me, and seeing it go from blue line to the fully coloured version is sublime. Thanks for sharing, Steve!

here's the diffferent stages to making the new Birds of Prey cover this is just mind blowingly amazing, i love it, seriously seriously love it, its so fantastic, and i love the process you have highlighted, the subtle changes as the piece moved throughout production, i wish i could colour even a 5th as good as you, my problem is the colouring stage doesnt really interest me as te penciling and inking.

Dear God, Steve... Why someone hasn't snapped you up for pro work is beyond me. Their loss is our gain though. This is just FANTASTIC. I just now have to hope that my story lives up to your illustration!

I.....tha.....wow....I can't....holy....
You outdo yourself with every cover you make, Steve. the BoP cover is phenomenal, completely inspiring, so incredibly detailed. The WW cover, just, i'm wordless. the texture! The color scheme! Jonah! It's....it's unbelievable.
I think you win.
